Really nice setting of a pub and very spacious. Nice selection of drinks. Food was nice but I think as we had a large order some came out a bit cold. I have now eaten a Sunday dinner here and it was fantastic. Everything cooked nicely, generous portions. We also waited a while especially to be served at the bar. Service is a problem it always takes a while to get a drink, such a big bar but they never have enough people serving so it’s always a wait to be served.
A delicious vegi Sunday dinner including a huge yorkshire pudding (one of the best I've had). Decent sized portions too. Staff are friendly and efficient. Did not wait long for our food and drinks.
Dog friendly pub with a designated area for sitting in + water bowls & free dog treats.
beautiful food great place for the family and reasonably priced will be back again cheers guys the gammon chips and peas which i asked for were perfect, the wifes ollys burger was mint and the garlic bread was out of this world.. the chefs wouldnt even take a tip cos they know thats the quality of food they produce and its natural to them. this is a real family place with park for the kids and plenty of space to eat and the staff are great very friendly and helpful yet again. thankyou from the moore family see you again soon
Friendly staff, great atmosphere.
Food is not amazing, but it is nice.
Not too expensive either.
Veggie/ vegetarian haggis roast. Very nice, (they also have vegan haggis/gravy) my only problem was the potatoes were overdone SOO we're very hard to cut! Disappointing but the cauliflower cheese and creamy leeks were sooo soo delicious! Lots of veg, just hidden under the huge yorkshire pudding. Would recommend
Sundays are for indulging in a delicious beef roast at the Beck and Call! Mouth-watering flavors and cozy atmosphere make this spot a must-visit.
Lovely setting and had a great evening watching the rugby on the screen outside. Good selection of drinks and beers and the food was exactly as hoped. The staff were really good, however need far more of them - had to queue for a while each time we went to the bar... will go again despite this.
First visit here. Very impressed.
Food was fantastic quality and reasonably priced.
Staff were friendly and efficient.
Nice decor and atmosphere.
Plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating / dining tables.
Will definitely return.
Me and my partner came here because we needed a place for lunch! We were not disappointed.
Massive beer garden in the sun, really nice interior too.
Nice big beer and gin selection so what not to like there!
The food was really good, I had the fish and chips and my partner got the tofish and chips, both were nice big portions and value for money. Both of us never get full but we struggled to eat all of this!
Definitely be coming back soon!!
Great venue for watching the football!
It was my first time visiting; I came on a Sunday with a friend to watch a Premier League match in the dedicated "Tap Room", and it was great! Large, clear screens, decent beer and good service at the bar. Lots of charming football memorabilia around the place which gives it a great atmosphere.
There were fans of both teams in the place which gave it an almost "mini stadium" feel, though good-natured and not at all hostile. It was a great game and my only concern was if we got a little too loud and rowdy and disturbed the diners next door! No one seemed to mind though.
I can only imagine what this place is like during a Leeds game; I bet it's electric!
I can't comment on the food as we didn't eat with you on this occasion.
Many thanks!
