Tradition in Guiseley and West Yorkshire is for the food to be fried in beef dripping but this was cooked in vegetable oil.
If you can stomach vegetable oil, give it a go as the portions were generous and nicely cooked. However, vegetable oil is not for me, thanks.

I took my mate Brian Potter here today he could not believe how good the fish and chips was where he comes from they don't cook it this way normally they cook fish and chips in beef dripping in Yorkshire but here they do it in vegetable oil #got to try it
