Food has recently restarted, went in today and had pizza and it was superb. Pub is great with live sports and an excellent range of drinks.

Popped into to catch up with some old friends. What a change. It's so warm and welcoming after having a refurb about 3 years ago. Had a lovely afternoon. Staff where lovely. Drinks very reasonably priced and a good selection . Will be coming back again
Recently refurbished, this pub is a good place to meet, the land lady works really hard to make sure the service is good and welcomes everyone.
My human says.... "This is a proper pub. Traditional pub. Clean, friendly staff and according to my Dad, the beer is good. I just had orange juice because I was driving. I'll definitely take my Dad there again."

We went as a party of 15 people to the whistle stop and has a meal there. A big thank you to all the staff and chef as the food was excellent staff couldn't do enough for us even when the kitchen had closed they still served us desserts will definitely be going again once again thank you whistle
Very busy on a match day but played all the LUFC hits and cheap pints. Very crowded though.
