Great food at great prices. Service was good and overall a great experience. Highly recommend if you are looking for quality food and even better pricing.
This fish restaurant is next door to a fish and chip shop. There is always a long queue for the takeaway. The restaurant too is always busy. Best to reserve if you are a large party. The fish is fresh and served with bread and butter, chips, and tea/coffee/ soft drinks are included in the price of yo
One of the nicest fish I’ve ever had. Very kindly fried the fish and chips separate in cooking oil for the same price. Wonderful highly recommended 👍🏻
Really good food, everything you would expect from them but just done really well. Good servings and reasonable prices. Sometimes a little busy and can be difficult to park. I'd recommend the restaurant too.
Amazing! Staff was excellent and food was the best we had had while traveling.
Cannot fault this fish and chip restaurant. Delicious, perfectly cooked, and very tasty. Staff are brilliant, friendly, helpful. It's just a shame I live 20 miles away!
The only problem is that, I wish it was nearer where I live. I would be there every week. Been going years ,when I can get !!! Never fails to please, as good now as it was,the first time I went. Absolutely 💯 , staff, food, presentation, it's a pleasure to pay a visit. Nothing is never to much
I don't usually leave reviews, but this place sure does deserve one. Best fish and chips I've had. Service was excellent, staff couldn't have been any more credit to the place. Even my 10yr old son said its the best fish and chips he's had and that we should leave a review. Just got back to the hote
Called in for a meal as had not been for ages and everything was perfect and food was delicious and good menu choice and OAP special offers. Bread and butter and plenty of cups of tea for two !!....Service from staff was great ,very polite and attentive .Will certainly call again if passing.
Best fish and chips in the area. Well worth the journey there! Parking can be difficult but food and service always excellent. Be prepared for the significant elderly clientele taking up the senior special offer!
Lovely fish and chips. We ate in the restaurant. Excellent service. Fish, chips, tea, bread and butter, £12.95 and my Grandson got a free child fish and chips which were equally as nice. Really enjoyed it.
Really good fish and chips, the batter is beautifully crisp. Very reasonably priced with kids meals being very cheap (might even be free) with a normal adult portion. I've had both haddock and plaice there, both were delicious.
This has to be the best chippy around without a doubt! We travel regularly from Barnsley just to eat here. Portion size is plentiful for the price you pay, staff are very polite & helpful. It's always busy no matter what time you call, which tells me others must also think it's the best around. J
For someone that doesn't like fish from a chippy I have to admit that the fish here was amazing. It's the batter I don't like as it's usually too thick and full of grease. This batter was light and fluffy and not greasy at all. Chips weren't amazing though so four stars.
I travel uk for 20 years now my home town wakefield have best fish and chips in UK last 15 years never had bad meal
