Amazing venue - drinks, music & have always found everyone from door to bar staff extremely hospitable. Would recommend trying a can of Hooch to drink for a messy one ���
Went to Jake’s before it even opened and they found a torture chair in the cellar next door to Oporto. It got even better once it actually opened as a bar. great cocktails, great staff.
Absolutely incredible staff, music, drinks - heck the Jäger cocktail is absolutely Klas! Last but not least, the crowd and atmosphere is just amazing! Shout out to the door staff for that- honestly guys. It's 2018! Get over yourselves. Everyone just wants to have a good time! They're just trying to have a diverse and balanced crowd so that there won't be any boisterous behaviour. AAAND Guys complain about a place being a cockfest and they lash-back with some idiotic comment about not being let in... quite mind boggling!!

Jakes bar is one of my all time fav bars in Leeds! I enter and I'm greeted by the glorious talented staff who know how to make drinks! Being fed jäger and shots by the staff is a brilliant way to spend your night! Keep it up and yas!

I love it here!!! The staff, the Dj, I went last night with friends, and I am never disappointed, prices are right, atmosphere is on point, music is brilliant, everyone just having a good time.
Excellent service. Sat outside on Saturday afternoon. Bar man great and bar lady great too she kept coming out n regularly clearing glasses unlike other pubs bars we have been in today. Lovely n cool inside n smelt lovely too
Called in for a few Sunday evening cocktails with my son. Bar was quiet, but the atmosphere was welcoming. The bar staff were friendly and the cocktails were innovative and well prepared.
Great cocktails, music is sensational but you guys need to sort out the bouncers..... You're either a top bar or not can't have bouncers who are amateur but act like people are going through airport security.
Good selection of drinks and the music is always great, classic after classic if you're into 90s/00s R&B.
The people attending are also cool and friendly, if you like to dance this is the place for you

What a fantastic place! Number 24 in the list of Top 50 cocktail bars in the UK. It's very rare to find a cocktail bar like this where you get amazing cocktails, great party vibes and fantastic bartenders at the same time! Big shoutout to Jax who really knows how to entertain and mix excellent drinks!

The vibe here is great it's downstairs in a basement, and it feels a little like a hidden speakeasy.
I ordered a cocktail, Caipirinha, they are usually the best place to get these , unfortunately tonight they had no brown sugar just sugar syrup , so it was disappointing.
There is seating all around the edge plenty of place to stand it dance if you wish.
Toilets are clean, and not miles away and had toilet roll always a plus!!
Friendly staff and welcoming staff even in today’s crazy times. Drinks good as always, very good selection of cocktails
