Sbarro

My husband and I went on 10/27/2020 to order 2 slices of pepperoni pizza and he went to the bathroom while I ordered. I walked up to the counter at 6:45 PM and everything had been cleaned off and there were 2 ladies cleaning in the back. I stood there for a few minutes and another guy came behind me. One lady finally acknowledged that we were standing there and she looked at us with an expression like “What Do You Want”? I asked for a slice of pizza and she said, “Does it look like we have any food out?” I said, “your website says you close at 9”. And she said, “We close at 7”. I came back with, “well, it’s 6:45! Not time to close yet and you have 3 customers that wanted some Sbarro’s Pizza and my husband and I drove from Calera to get some and according to the website you close at 9 and we are here well ahead of time for 7 or 9!” WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED!!

Food was fine. Only reason I’m giving one star. The next bit seems like a lot of other people are having the same experience; As I’m waiting in line to place my order, the lady in front of me is ordering. The lady behind the counter was very rude and talked to the customer ordering as if she was stupid. I was then next, I asked about the pizza options already cooked. She was at the same level of rudeness with me. I like to hope that made things easier for the lady behind the counter by ordering something cooked. She may have been a lot ruder had I asked for something not already cooked. When I says rude I mean asking a simple question like, “what kind of pizza is this in front?” Her responses to my question were snappy and follow by eye rolls. I’ll NEVER go back to this location. You just don’t treat people like this no matter how bad your day is.
