Lovely pub. Visited a few times and the food and service is always remarkable. Can recommend the pie dishes, they are huge and absolute delicious! Manager very welcoming and the atmosphere is good for pub dining. Will be back!

It's been a year since we ate here but the pub has changed hands since then. The menu was much improved. The staff very friendly and informative regarding food intolerances etc. I chose the beef stroganoff, my wife the lasagne and my son the gormet burger. We all found the food to be well presented,
Just come back from having lunch there today. Very quiet (shame) but food, drink and service was excellent. Used to be our local β€˜go to’ pub but circumstances have meant this is a first visit in a long while. Certainly will be returning and would recommend.
Fantastic little pub, lovely Sunday pork roast, seemed like the staff were being trained, all friendly and helpful enough though
Been here a couple of times when visiting family. The food is really nice and staff are Friendly. Would definitely return.

Popped in for a quick lunch one Friday. Plenty of tables available and a good range of food. I had a steak ciabatta and skin on fries. Husband had a burger and fries. Generous portion sizes, food was delicious and staff attentive. Good value and a lovely location.
Lovely time there with family. Tonight half of the menu wasn't available and service was very, very slow, even for drinks, and no one else needed serving. Will not be going back.
Lovely food and atmosphere and at a good price, service was very good as well, I will visit again
Visited the pub for lunch on a Thursday at about 1300. I chose the steak and ale pie and my companion selected sausage and mash. Our food took about thirty minutes, which suggested proper cooking without a freezer or microwave being involved. The food was plain but of very high quality. The pie was
After reading some reviews on here I was optimistic about going here again. However I can't complain atall. Food was of high quality, there was short wait but I didn't mind that, i could see it was busy. Staff were very attentive, nothing was to much for them. Overall it was a good experience, I t
