The Lansdowne - Leicester - Photo album

The vegetarian option was excellent with a great selection of vegetables. Adequately priced. Would definitely visit again.
Loved the food and the efficient service during lunch ideal to ring ahead
Fantastic place! We were a bit dubious when we arrived as it doesn't look anything from the outside but it was amazing inside!a real retro feel with fantastic food. They catered for everyone in our party and my Sunday lunch was great. A good place for my birthday meal 😁
Been coming into this pub on and off for years. It's always busy without being crowded. Food is good basic fare. Service at the bar can be slow due to the extensive cocktail menu but it's a good meeting place.
We arrived for Sunday lunch. It was quiet when we arrived. Soon seated at our booked table, drinks were ordered at the bar and put on our tab. Are lunch orders were taken by pleasant staff. Half of us went for the Sunday roasts, while the others chose from the standard menu. The Sunday roasts incl
The Sunday roast was lovely I had the Turkey which was accompanied by Yorkshire pudding roast potatoes and mixed vegetables. It was a fantastic meal and everything was hot and very tasty! The bar staff were engaging and extremely friendly and I will definitely be going back very soon to The La
At 1.30 on a Monday afternoon, outside of student term time, the Lansdowne was the quietest I have ever known. The barman was a friendly chap and came out from behind the bar to take our drinks and food order. The food was delicious, basic, not cheap but worth it. There is something on the menu for
Chilled out place for a drink. Really lovely staff. Decently priced. Comfortable sofas. Nice food and drinks. Nice outdoor seating area for when it is hot out. Can get quite busy over the weekend and when shows are on at de montfort hall.
Nice staff and good beer selection but I arrived 10 minutes before they stopped serving food and the fish was over cooked and the chips were very greasy. The mushy peas had lots of mint in them which was delicious.
A relaxed place with a good range of drinks. Cocktails, mock tails, beers, tea and coffee. Always has excellent food as well. Close to the city centre and the O2 so a good place for meeting at before a night out.
Friendly staff. Some good imported craft ales. Like all of the UK the sandwiches are more bread than filling (complains the Texan). Overall, "hell yeah", enjoyed my time here, sipping rye and drinking beer
Really enjoyed hosting our engagement drinks at the Lansdowne in 'The Pits'. A great area and relaxed space and seating. Well priced drinks and promotions. Thanks
Lovely pint of IPA Peacock £4.50 a pint good value. Only gripe was same glass of wine was £3.90 then £5.10, feel that they should ask if serving more expensive vino?
Great pub on London Road, close to Victoria Park. The clientele is young and trendy as is the feel of the place. There is outdoor seating which is great in the summer months. The indoor seating area is split levelled and the lower kevel has large leather sofas which are great for relaxing and social
Fun place. Booking the pits for a group event is just perfect, cosy as it is. Options for drinks are nice and the bartenders anre just super helpful with their recommendations!
