Some of the most delicious American style pancakes in Leicester! They can get pretty busy and don't take reservations. But on the weekends they serve the same menu at their sister restaurant Pai which is just across St Martin's square. We went on a Saturday morning around 10:45 and were able to get a table outside without waiting.

The most insane breakfast! We went for the savoury options but will definitely be back to try the pancakes. The portions are really generous and the staff are friendly. Would definitely recommend for a breakfast/brunch spot!

Absolutely amazing experience. Our server was Emily however all of the people working had a constant smile on their face and helped us with any need. They listened to our requests for our food because of allergies and was more then happy to follow them. The food was just amazing, and the portion sizes are 100% worth the prices.

Really enjoyed Brunch at KAI, visited Leicester for a day and found this place local to our hotel. Shakshuka was really nice, it was different then Turkish places but enjoyed it. Buttered Sourdough was lovely with the Shakshuka. I also ordered a side of Potatoes, which was too much for me but again nice touch. Wife ordered the Mushrooms on toast which was on the special for the day, really liked it Filling and tasty. Juices were nice and refreshing, healthy as well. Service was good and the vibe was really nice. Also we actually came here for the Pancakes but we were stuffed and missed out , so you can share meals easily.

I had the pancakes with hazelnut chocolate and strawberries, my friend had smashed avocado on bread (I think). We also had the smoothies that were available as the ones we originally wanted, they didn't have them. It was very nice food, the staff were lovely. And the way they took orders, served you and pay for your food, was so very thought through. We did go at a very busy time and the food was quite expensive. They were very big portions too. But if you can't finish it all, you can ask the staff if you can have a takeaway box and they will give you one to take home and eat later.

It’s a nice place in St Martins square for brunch. It’s usually very crowded over the weekends so booking ahead is advisable. The food is very fresh and tasty. The ambiance is ok, can be better. The service is good and the restaurant is reasonably priced.

Lovely little place for breakfast. We got the vegan Benedict with regular hollandaise sauce. It was quite a big portion for one person but so nice!! Definitely recommend this place if you are in the area.

I’ve come here quite often and the food is fantastic. I have only ever had the avocado, smoked salmon, and lemon crême frêche pancakes. The pancakes are so soft and fluffy, salmon is smooth and savoury, the avocado is so creamy, and the lemon crême frêche provides perfect tang to the meal. Such a reasonable price for the food. The service and atmosphere was more than satisfactory. I was served by Lizzy and she was really nice.

If you want the best breakfast then head here! I had amazing Eggs Benedict and my Husband had a Breakfast Stack. I also had a side of the Breakfast potatoes. All came beautifully presented. The coffee was delicious too. All the staff provided excellent service. Well worth a visit.

Lovely little brunch spot - delicious food and quick service despite how busy it gets. I like that you pay for your bill once you've ordered, meaning you can leave whenever you are ready. The only thing that could be improved is if they had a booking system in place. The queue for a table can get very long at times and a booking system would largely avoid this.
