We went for our first visit since its refurbishment and was very pleased. Lovely staff, and super food. The steak was super and portions on the large side! We had the best onion rings ever and nothing was too much trouble. The service has gone up a notch and we couldn't fault the food. We were made very welcome and our son wasn't sure what the chilli was like so a pot for tasting was brought to him... it was delicious! but way too many beans in for a fussy teenager! Been there for food twice in 2 weeks food was fab and pipping hot had a table of 23 all food came out together will defiantly be back thank u to the new landlord and landlady for making us all welcome seen u soon
Decided to have lunch here today with my 2 daughters & I was so impressed... The food quality & portion sizes for the price were very impressive.. The staff were friendly and bubbly... overall a very pleasant lunch outing..I will definitely be back with my husband and other family.
Great food and prices, brilliant friendly staff who make you feel very welcome. We stopped off after shopping, and the atmosphere was lovely, especially with the open fire, comfy seats. Garden outside for warmer days and a covered smoking area. Would definitely recommend and we will be visiting again.
Such good value for money, the most amazing function room with features, nice decorations and such a lovely space for a party! Staff are absolutely wonderful and really helpful, we literally had to do nothing (even let us have a couple of extra songs!!).
We had quite a lot of us for a retirement party and they were really accommodating and couldn’t have helped more.
Such a beautiful, hidden space and a beautiful garden with it. They sort food, space and DJ/karaoke! Recommend!

Went for a Sunday roast. Food was good, great to have a couple of vegetarian options too. Marked down by one star as the roast stuffing was sloppy which wasn’t to my taste. Reasonably priced.
