Been 3 lunchtimes now, staff lovely and polite, service perfect, food is great size potions, fresh and enjoyable. Not often would I recommend places but defiantly recommend here.

This place is a bit pricy but for a special treat it’s worth a visit. It’s clear that all meals are cooked from scratch which whilst this makes the wait a little longer also makes the meals delicious.
The mixed fish platter was amazing, ham and eggs lovely although too much ham even for a big eater.
The kids burger and chips is almost identical to the adult version but at half the price - order the kids one.
Expect greatness but expect to pay for it.
Food was AMAZING! I tried the cook your own steak and it was such a novelty, even as a medium to well done steak eater, the stone was hot enough to cook it to my liking! I would definitely recommend giving it a go at least once.

Atmosphere was OK. It was a Friday night and we were sat near the bar, so there were a few drunks around, but nothing too rowdy so it was all good.
What a wonderful experience we have been coming here off and on and I can honestly say I've not had a bad meal here and no sooner had we ordered our meals were on our way.

Yesterday me and my mum went for a photo shoot at Venture which is down the road from this pub. They recommend us go there for food as we where hungry. It has a car park & is also dog friendly. On arrival the bar attendant showed us to a table. The decor is very nice inside. The mood is ambient and relaxed. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a garlic flatbread to shear for starter. It was very nice & not to filling. For main I had the gammon with Pineapple & fried egg with chips. It was on the specials menu. Omg it was the best gammon I've ever had. So tasty and juicy. My mum has a vegetarian sweet potatoe, Spinich and chickpea curry with rice & flatbread. She said it was nice but to many chickpeas for her liking. I ate the rest of her flatbread hehe! It was delicious. The couple next to us ordered a steak which you get to choose yourself & it comes on a wooden board with a hot Lava stone. You cook the steak yourself on the hot lava stone. It was awesome to watch. We didn't have a pudding as we where stuffed but it was such a lovely place to go for food in an area we dont know. Thank you for a lovely evening.
First time visiting in August post-corona, staff are lovely and welcoming, they've done a great job getting re-open but, the best thing is the food. Proper pub grub, great summer style menu and we had the largest Onion rings I've ever seen, not sure how they found onions that huge but they were amazing.

with a lime and lemonade and a sparkling water for £40.
Great service, Lovely environment, well presented food and excellent tasting food.
A first I know of a smoking/smoke free outdoor dinning area. Carnt wait to go again but in the evening next time hopfully to enjoy the outdoor wood burners on a chilly evening.
