Visiting friends in the area and we went to the Bangla Spice.
We had a fabulous meal, the peshwari Nam was the best I’ve ever had light fluffy and so moorish the onion bahji was crispy and cooked to perfection again it was a delight to eat.

I tried the achari mirch (hot) which has a wonderful sweet undertone. Also garlic pilau rice. One of the nicest curries I've ever had and very different.
The portion was more than generous. It was delivered very hot.
We haven't been to the restaurant yet, but absolutely recommended the takeaways.
This is an excellent place with great food and really friendly staff! We know friends that go there once / twice a week, so I think that says it all. If we aren't eating in then the takeaway is just as fabulous!

Big Hit and slight miss - but hopefully a one off!
Tandoori chicken starter - not as meaty as usual but very tasty.
Lamb tawali - tender meat, ample but tasted like a Pataks sauce.
Prawn dish - delicious. Really delicious.

Awesome food, great service, great delivery service, use them whenever I feel an Indian. Occasionally get the odd thing wrong but always sort it out. Absolutely spot on for a red hot curry. Can't fault them and thoroughly recommend them.

I've traveled extensively and have been an avid curry fan for forty years so, for a small restaurant in a little village, the Bangla Spice was a very pleasant surprise.
The menu is extensive and the wine list works well with the food.
So far we've had four meals there
