Hope & Anchor, Hungry Horse - Leicester - Photo album

Just came across this excellently placed pub. Sitting on the side of a lovely little river (with many canal boats parked alongside). It has a fantastic outside dining area with plenty of easy parking. Has your standard pub favourites plus a few interesting additions. But I couldn't go past the 8oz s
After a walk around Watermead Park was a lovely stop off for a pint and some Nachos. Very friendly service. Will be back for sure for a meal!
Beautiful location, staff are very friendly and welcoming, pints are lovely! But my god the food is terrible such a shame
Good food and nice staff. This place could do with a refurbishment and somewhere for the children to play while waiting for food. This place is in a great location and could be a fantastic little place if it was modernised. The staff are very helpful and will try there very best to make you feel wel
If you're looking for a big tasty steak then this is the place you're looking for. Chips are amazing also. I've tried lots of steaks around uk but never eat one this good. Definitely going back! Congratulations!
Extensive menu, friendly staff great prices! It was steak day so my husband and i both got a rump steak and chips it was delicious and the onion rings were absolutely amazing! We both really enjoyed our meal and will come back again.
Food and service are excellent..... portions are very good and Food comes out red hot.... all of us agreed definitely would return on a regular basis...... price is very competitive compared to recent places we have been..... highly recommended πŸ‘πŸ‘

Again nip in if passing . Foods not bad , got smaller I guess but all pub grub has , the place just could do with a right good clean up and a good kick of paint, I know the pub has been standing a while but treat it to a freshen up πŸ™„please .
Lovely place, food excellent well looked after by polite happy staff..
Very busy summers evening , food came out very fast , only negative point is that my wife went to the bar to order desserts and the miserable man who was on till walked away without saying anything and left her stood waiting for 10 minutes ! When he did get back to the bar he walked straight past li
