Just came across this excellently placed pub. Sitting on the side of a lovely little river (with many canal boats parked alongside). After a walk around Watermead Park was a lovely stop off for a pint and some Nachos. Very friendly service. Will be back for sure for a meal!

If you're looking for a big tasty steak then this is the place you're looking for. Chips are amazing also. I've tried lots of steaks around uk but never eat one this good. Definitely going back! Congratulations!

It was steak day so my husband and i both got a rump steak and chips it was delicious and the onion rings were absolutely amazing!
We both really enjoyed our meal and will come back again.

Holy moly, the jerk chicken and wings, what a fantastic lip buzzer 🌶🔥❤️ one of the tastiest meals ever . And bar staff were great 👍🏼
I've had better meals on previous visits. No salmon, no lasagne, no ribs. 2x meals were fine but 2 were not so good. Mixed grill - sausage was cold,chicken breast luke warm , looked dry & was pale in colour -very unappetising, peas nearly raw. Crown of burgers - they were overcooked & dry. Would go
Again nip in if passing . Foods not bad , got smaller I guess but all pub grub has , the place just could do with a right good clean up and a good kick of paint, I know the pub has been standing a while but treat it to a freshen up 🙄please .
