Came to see live music, staff were friendly and welcoming, small bar and smoking area but the vibes make up for it. Decent selection of drinks at the bar, offer non alcoholic cider, toilets were clean.

Fantastic little bar in the centre of Leicester. Great beers and friendly staff, but better still...its also a venue! Saw a couple of excellent bands, met up with friends and had a whale of a time.
Visited (1st time) on impulse for a couple of pints of Guinness which were of course poured properly. The rugby was on and it was busy and full of very friendly people as were the staff. I will return !
Ace place to see bands. Especially if you like a more intimate venue.
It has a rickety rock Irish theme. Imagine a gig at Paddy's in Always Sunny. Definitely check it out!
The service is absolutely excellent. I was served by a dark haired lady yesterday and she was very kind and accommodating.

Great pint of Guinness but that is to be expected given the place name.
The gig room is compact and dark and caters for the punk & Metal community.
Many gigs are free or donate what you can.
Close parking is a struggle especially at the weeke
Supported Collapsed Lung with my band, great atmosphere, great sound, professional, nice Guinness. Will definitely watch more bands here.
What a place - everything a small music venue should be and more. I urge you to go and check out any band that's playing there to support live music. Marvellous.
Lovely little Irish bar in the heart of Leicester.This pub is friendly with a great atmosphere and live music.We went to see our friends band play and also the night before for a drink.The guiness is great,obviously.A nice little outdoor space if you want it.The room at the back where the bands play

Went to watch Headsticks, had a great time. Guinness was well good, friendly staff and good smoking area.

Here for the Leicester comedy festival, great performance area in the back with a great show, lovely bar area in the front for pre-show drinks.
Pleasant afternoon watching the Six Nations, Reasonably priced drinks as well as some bar snacks, especially the Cheese cob!
Awesome place to hide out and grab a drink. Anything with a UV lamp that makes your drink glow gets a thumbs up in my book....
A really excellent pub off the beaten track featuring a poorly lit yet cheerful atmosphere that does evoke an Irish pub. Come for the live shows by local bands and comedians in the back. Duffy's is one of Leicester's most-used venues. Great staff and decent range of beers
