The Friary - Leicester - Photo album

My Grandson needed medical attention Saturday evening following Citys title celebrations. A great big thank you to the staff who helped. Can't praise them enough. Very caring, professional, medically trained and calming in a stressful situation. I don't know you by name but would like to send a huge
Great selection of beer and food, but lots of options were sold out the day we visited the place. I guessed they were the victims of their own success, but we were a bit sad though the we couldn’t have what we wanted try. Great team at the bar and kitchen! Spacious pub, cozy vibe!
Visited this lovely traditional pub based in the city centre last week. Great atmosphere on a Wednesday for the quiz with quality pub food for an affordable price. Staff are friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable about what they have to offer, especially when introducing us to the app so we could get
Best steak I have had in years really recommend this place if you like steak. Atmosphere and staff very friendly. Waitress with glasses and tattoos went the extra mile. Will be coming back!
Really great food and I can imagine it’s a lovely space in the evening as it’s big. Enjoyed sitting in the booth with own tv screen! Only thing is some more cider options would be nice as aspalls was advertised on the app but not there.
Really great place with a vibrant feel. Staff were on point and quickly tended to the customers who presented themselves at the bar. Not a full menu available but still amazing food.
Had a lovely time! The Friary is well maintained really organized with excellent hygiene, the toilets are very clean. Also the food was lovely.
Delicious food, great service we did enjoy
Had a great night, on a Saturday brilliant music friendly staff, one complaint could do with staying open later .
Always a great pub to visit in the city centre, great atmosphere on a Saturday night and great music played by the DJ's see you at the bar!
Booked a table to watch Rugby (we lost). Good selling point to have a TV on the wall at each table which you can pre-book. Food (burgers and fries) were tasty and the service was happy and helpful. The atmosphere was a bit flat due to the pub being only about 30% full, but I imagine it's much better
First British pub I’ve been to (I’m originally from the US)- and it was great! The chicken katsu was absolutely delicious with such an amazing flavor. My only problem with the dish was the rice, it was glue like. Tasted fine, just a weird texture. Great ambiance and drinks!
