This place was great right on the water and quiet in the day. They were out of a few things but staff were super friendly and always trying to help. Food was really good!

Exceptionally good bottomless brunch. It was so good I went 2 days in the trot. All the staff were fantastic as always. Drinks arrived super fast. Been to a lot of BB in Leicester and this is by far the best. Thanks Soar Point team you are brilliant đđ»

Bottomless brunch was excellent, great option for food and Megan our server was fabulous. She was so attentive and very quick to replenish our drinks - 5* service. Will definitely be back and recommend our friends to come.

Soar Point is one of the most popular sports bars in the city. Its in a really good location, right by the canal.
I've frequented this bar a lot over the years to hang out with friends and watch football.
The inside decor is really nice and there's lots of comfortable seating areas to chill in. The outside decking area is a great spot during the warmer months as well.
Food and drinks are really expensive though.

Visited from London and Essex, Sicily and Matt were very accommodating. We came for my friends graduation drinks. We booked bottomless brunch for ÂŁ50. Well all I can say is we definitely got our monies worth. Drinks and food were perfect, portion sizes were more than expected. When Iâm Leicester again weâll definitely be back

We was served by Tam, she was so lovely, really made us feel welcomed and brought nothing but good vibes to our table. We loved her!!

Great meeting place for students. Just on the edge of town, between the edge of the Town Centre and Braunstone Gate, so plenty of choices to move on to. And right on the canal bank, with a veranda over the water.
Good atmosphere, reasonable prices, helpful staff.
Top banana score of 4 đđđđ

We have been visiting since the early 2000s, never had a bad time in this boozer. Scream days were great during student days.
Then during Braunstone gate heyday we'd always still come to the point. Watched Leicester city win the prem from here when couldn't go to games
That Hazard goal and the place erupting.
Great bar, goos staff, food, drinks, prices - highly recommended. Still don't get why it is the only riverside bar we have in the city. But it does its job so well that it makes up for the lack of others.
Great to see it still busy with young students, now we're in our 40s and only get out once in a while for beers.

One of my favourite places in Leicester to watch sports and just generally hang out in the evening. Great atmosphere and vibe, while prices are also very reasonable being right in the middle of De Montfort University campuses.
Staff are always friendly, serve food throughout the day with pretty good veggie and vegan options.

Nice and quiet middle of the day Saturday. Food is good. Good range of drinks. Pool and console games available

Had a lovely time here! Kathleen on the bar was really wonderful and so helpful as I was undecided on drinks and she gave me her best opinion which was Kraken Rum! Absolutely amazing drink! Lovely pub and lovely workers! Would definitely recommend!

This is a lovely friendly pub , great value food & drinks , ÂŁ3-50 ish for a large house wine, the USP though had to be the veranda directly overlooking the Grand Union Canal , beautiful spot to wile away a summer afternoon ïżœ

Firstly, manage Linda didnât ask my mate for ID after an enquiry was made about food I had ordered which didnât add up, she stormed over and slammed the receipt on the table demanding she was correct. After she got annoyed about the enquiry, she asked us all to show ID twenty minutes after she had served us with a comment saying âif we wouldnât have asked she wouldnât have mentioned it.â A few times Iâve been in I have felt she has been very rude and not polite at all.
