We visited The Corn Exchange in August 2023. The pub is an impressive Grade II listed building, with a huge stone archway to the front which unfortunately was undergoing some work on our visit. The pub was refurbished in 2022 and the interior is a vast, open area across multiple levels wrapped around a central bar.
The carpet is particularly interesting, with reference to the Leicestershire cinquefoil and the agricultural history of the building. The toilets have benefited from the refurbishment and the pub feels quite fresh, albeit very brown.

Great breakfast....Good price! Easy and quick to order!!
Only problem is the place is full of piss heads!! But if u like a drink, not a problem...never no trouble and people keep themselves to themselves.
Cheap drink, cheap nice food. Great staff. Win win!!

I really enjoyed the food and beers. Only the service wasn’t attentive and it was a bit complicated to order. I noticed that they were understaffed as the dishwasher corner was overloaded. Nonetheless the atmosphere was good and I liked the historic feel of the space.

We chose the Coin Exchange for a young womens 21st birthday with friend's and family meal, but also because my son has a nut allergy and it is the only pub that my son can have anything off the menu without the nut allergy being an issue. It's value for money especially as time are hard financially for a lot of us.
Also I'd like to give a shout out to Warren (a credit to Witherspoons) the duty manager who went above and beyond to make sure all ours needs were met. WITHERSPOONS YOU HAVE A REAL GEM IN THE HEART OF LEICESTER.

I want to point out a server called Joe tonight. He spotted me everytime and knew my drink. He took time to speak to me one on one. A thoroughly nice young man

Stopped off for a quick meal with my wife and another couple to catch up on what we have been doing recently.
Good food and cold cider in a very comfortable and warm environment. Planned to stay for an hour or so, but so comfortable stayed for more like 3 hours.
Very popular place with a complete mix of customers from retired couples, workman on their way home and grabbing a quick drink, to groups of friends and students with laptops.
Hassle free and all at a fair price.
Give it a go ... you will not be sorry that you did.

Love it here with great service and great food. The selection of alcohol is perfect and a fantastic atmosphere to match it. Recommend this for groups of friends to go to.

First off the building itself is great. Popped in for breakfast with the wife one morning, food was a good standard and simple to order on the app. Staff seemed friendly and I can imagine a lively atmosphere on the weekend evenings

Popped in for an impromptu lunch with my wife and vegetarian twins.
It was very very busy, but it is close to Christmas.
Once we found a table, we ordered food via the app, and it came quite quickly. Not the best food on earth, but well worth it's money.
We will go back again.

Breakfast with the lads before a day of drinking! Classic. It's a good wetherspoons, nice building with multi leveled seating. Service and food super fast and the app worked a treat. I was amazed that the loos were on THE GROUND FLOOR!! First one I have been to. I applaud the layout.

Me and my friend had an amazing time at this pub, a Wetherspoons with the welcome addition of music! The pub has a beautiful design that includes chandeliers, balcony stylings and frames. We were served by friendly staff and enjoyed a proper amount to drink, situated at a table that was clean just like the toilets!

Great breakfast at a good price, along with facilitating staff made for a memorable day for the Royal Anglian Veteran's breakfast 2023.
Thanks for the work you all put in to make this a memorable one.
Maybe rethink the 2nd hand drier situation.......awkward 😳

When I stepped into this pub for the very first time last September, I wasn't really a pub-goer, and hadn't been to a lot of Wetherspoons before. Since then however, I feel like I've become somewhat of a regular.
Whether I'm coming in for a quick XIX Vodka and Pepsi (no ice and a bit of fruit) before an event, or I've come in for a slap-up meal and a long night of drinking with the mates, I'm never let down by anything. The food is made as quickly as possible and always looks so good that you don't want to eat it (but then you remember how truly delicious it is, so you eat it as swift as Taylor). The same can be said for the drinks - and hey, the drinks always taste sweeter here because of how friendly the servers are here.
And it's not just the servers, all of the staff here are super nice, with incredible skills to match (some good training that the managers have implemented, very clearly). I've met chefs, and some of the cleaners as well as the servers - the Corn Exchange is a machine, and all of the cogs are in place and working smoothly. They're always happy to welcome new people into the Wetherspoons family.
If you can have one pub to keep in your heart and mind, make it this one.

I eat breakfast in many Wetherspoons all over the UK and I have to say this one was cooked to perfection. Even though you would have thought all wetherspoons breakfasts would be the same they are not, normally something isn’t quite cooked right, but at this one every item was perfection.
It’s quite a large pub with mezzanine floor, looks like it a popular place at night.
If you want a perfect breakie then I would highly recommend this Wetherspoons for it.

I don’t even know where to start so I think I’ll just say… coor blimey, never in my life have I been to such a pleasant and clean pub before and I’ve been drinking for 30+ years, ginger bloke I think his name was worren was very helpful and the kitchen manager personally came and delivered our food, her name was Elaine I think. Great experience all around
