The King's Head - Leicester - Photo album

Quite splendid traditional pub in the centre of Leicester that offers a great range of cask ales (a dozen taps or more) at moderate prices. The pub is nicely decorated and comfy, and there's a small outside seating area in the back that even has its own TV. Nice community atmosphere, friendly and co
Popped in to see an old friend, a really nice pub, a friendly landlord, and a great selection of beers. A great pub for a drink. Gets very busy when the Tigers play.
What a great real ale traditional pub. Friendly locals that were happy to talk to us and Paul the landlord, very knowledgeable. Highly recommended.
Plenty of real ale taps (that's the important bit!) and a nice characterful interior. Part of the extensive Black Country group of pubs (45?). As 'chains' go, well above average!
We discovered this gem of a pub while walking around the centre of Leicester trying to find a decent pint. Excellent choice of beer, friendly and helpful staff. This is now our "go to" place whenever we visit Leicester. 100% recommended.
Great pre match boozer for Rugby & Football as closr to both grounds
Great pub with decent ale selection. Even better when served with a Cherries away win.
Very good Leicester pub. 12 cask beers on handpump when I last visited including a stout and a mild. Lots of outdoor seating some of it covered.
Great pub, great beer; wish we had more pubs like this. As for those that comment about the punters in cobwebs, head into the centre.
A quality real ale pub with that local village pub vibe but nestled in the middle of the city, complete with a "interesting" bunch of local regulars. A very warming welcoming pub, there's always a great selection of ale and the staff look after there lines and will never pull you a bad pint. +UK p
Old school pub with a good selection of craft ales on tap. Service was good and the toilets were clean.
Great pub, quite a few ales to choose from.
Lovely staff. Extensive selection of real ale. Amazing choice of baps and pies at very reasonable prices and they have sport on TV.
Fantastic real ale pub in a beautiful area of the city.
Recently started frequenting this establishment and have been pleasantly surprised , there is a very welcoming atmosphere with good beers and ciders ,music played a volume suitable for having a conversation without having to shout a great cross between a local and town pub
Lovely place. Staff is helpful, answer every question and offer you to taste ales. Sitting next to fire place is fantastic after being out in cold.
Good beer, relaxed atmosphere, friendly and helpful service.
Great friendly service and excellent pub
