I love this place. It's a regular for a catch up with my friend. Staff are always friendly & welcoming. Food is freshly cooked and well presented without a very long wait.
Sometimes we pop into the shop, a great place to pick up lovely produce, nice cards and other gifts.

Tasty, decent portions, nicely served food. Bit cold inside at the beginning (we were first customers in the morning), outside temperature 5*C, but much warmer later on when we had our food served and more people were in. Scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, delicious, eggs cooked perfectly, not too runny not too dry, "chapeau bas" to chef.

This is our family favourite farm! We visit this place every summer a couple of times. It's close to us, it has parking, my kids get to see a few animals and enjoy a lovely lunch here followed by their delicious ice creams. We love it! 10/10

Visited for the first time as part of a group of 7 cyclists. Plenty of space to leave our bikes and lots of outdoor/indoor seating. Good quick service, friendly staff and very good food. Bacon roll was very generous 😁. Enjoyed by all, so added to our list of places to return to.

A nice place to get a variety of organic products along with seeing some beautiful animals. They even have Kangaroos now! Horses, alpacas, chickens and goats have been around at the farm for a while!
Great place to bring the family!

Lovely breakfast with mates from Wigan! Originally was going to go to Ellis tearooms in Rothley but there cook had not came to work so there was no hot food! Ended up here because of great reviews, animals and also came to the Kings Coronation party! Lovely little area, amazing food and very friendly staff!

I've been here twice now for brunch, and the food and drinks are good. Menu is general english breakfast type items with some other stuff like pancakes and French toast. The place is rustic, as you would imagine. Value for money is reasonable. The farm shop is pricey but has some really nice items. There are some animals here, too, with alpacas being everyone's favourite

Whilst travelling home we popped in on spec to see if we could grab a quick bite to eat. Although the kitchen was technically closed they were more than happy to put together a delicious sandwich and the best sausage roll I've ever eaten. Put that together with great coffee at a great price and you've got yourself a loyal customer, thank you!!

Very friendly staff, kids loved seeing the animals on the farm.
Brilliant breakfast from the cafe.
We made the trip for children to have lunch with Santa and must say it was the best experience they have had with him. Well worth a visit with the children to see him.

Lovely shop/cafe. Just found out the trays of eggs that I have been buying every week for the past year are from caged hens (only the date is shown on the chalk board) I thought from buying from a farm shop they would be free range I think they should be clearly labled that they are from caged hens not free ranged I only found out as I seen the empty boxes then I returned and asked the question and asked for a refund. I'm not sure what eggs are used in the cafe (farmers breakfast, cakes etc)

Very disappointed with today's visit. Firstly it took forever to be served, and it wasn't busy. Then after my daughter had set her heart on the fabulous milkshakes you advertise with pictures, we were bought out what I assume to be nesquick powder, I did ask how they were made but no one could inform me. There was no chocolate sauce, no cream, no flakes or sprinkles (as your picture shows) upon querying this we were told the milkshake pictures aren't the ones they serve, Erm so why do you advertise that? I also asked if it's supposed to come with cream, to which you said no, you could have squirted a bit on top for £2.75. The hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows was also disappointing, the cream had melted by the time it got to me, and there were a couple of lonely marshmallows swimming on top and some swimming in the mess on my saucer. When i went to pay and said I hope I'm not being charged for cream and marshmallows the lady seemed put out that I'd asked that and reluctantly didn't charge for the extras. What a let down of a visit on a lovely day

Love this place. Always a friendly happy atmosphere. We call in for our eggs, from local producers. Infact, where possible their fruit and veg is grown at Thorpe Farm or sourced from British suppliers. The meat is from a local butcher, just a few miles up the road who produces his own pork, always fresh and very tasty. If we can't find what we are looking for then one of the very helpful staff will put an order if for us and let us know when it is ready for collection. They have a personal relationship with many of their suppliers and this shows in the variety and quality of the beers, wines and spirits and the jams and chutneys. Well worth a visit. Just tell them that Sharon and Graham sent you!
