Vast selection of beers: they specialise in bottled Belgian, but plenty of other types, both bottled and draft. Great pizzas. Traditional pub decor (plus a life size astronaut statue). Delightfully grumpy staff. Near to Leicester Tigers rugby ground, so gets busy on match days. Also near to Leicester Royal Infirmary, so there's a steady stream of staff, visitors and patients.

I have been working with the owners of the Swan & Rushes for a while now, they are all great guys, they are always looking at ways they can serve his customers better.
They have great offers, really well priced food and beer and are really big on customer service.
I would highly recommend visiting this place.

The best selection and the best kept beer in Leicester. OK, perhaps the place could do with a spruce up, but consider it part of the charm, the character.

excellent service is very well priced drinks £2 a pint and good beer quality ant sports on lots of TVs around the pub well priced chip shop style food to eat on or take away

The beer is good and the food is not all that good.
Cracking boozer for pre tigers drinks, good snacks behind the bar and a great selection of real ales, including my favourite, milestone.
Major improvements with respect to the old swan and rushes. It is also now possible to pay by card and it is definitely cleaner and enjoyable
Decent straightforward pub with a great choice of beer and great thin crust pizza
The Bar Lady is extremely helpful because my friend is in a wheelchair and treats us with the up most respect
