Reviews Plough Inn

It remains a drinkers pub with a good selection of beers (all well kept). Again a busy night with plenty of people to talk to. It is fair to say this is the best traditional pub in the area but is desperately in need of refurbishment. The other two pubs in the village (now both with new tenants) have much better decor and leaves the Plough inferior in this respect.

Great local for local people. Much better than other pubs in the village that display signs saying they are welcoming of dogs but absolutely are not at all. Guaranteed a good pint, at a reasonable cost with a friendly service and atmosphere

Went here Sat 1st Oct. There were 4 of us out on a day's walk in the area and this pub was planned in to the walk. We found it to be very nice pub with very pleasant staff. We didn't have food but it looked good and with good portions. If I was ever in the area again I would go there. Very welcoming.

I love this pub, and it still has all the village charm. Extremely friendly staff and the food is beautiful. Would definitely recommend it.

Friendly pub, place to watch football/sport as several screens dotted around the pub. Good beer and gets busy for Sunday lunch. Nice patio area outside in the sun during the summer

The plough Inn does the best pint of ale in the world I.e Marston Pedigree and we have tried a few. Bit disappointed in that we came in for the Wednesday curry night after the landlord sold it us a few weeks before to find they had cancelled it. We still love the plough though and the beer is superb.
