Lovely cafe, welcoming to families including 4 legged members. Had a wonderful breakfast today the girls were very busy but still with a smile. Some people left without paying âŠâŠ difficult time for a small business with costs never mind this happening. Great gluten free chocolate cake to take home. Lovely place and cater for gluten free .
Nice place to stop for a something to eat and drink, also pleased to see a range of options for veggies and vegans. I ordered the bagel and an iced coffee which were both perfect, as well as a hearty slice of the chocolate pudding cake. They have a beautiful and varied counter of fresh cakes that it made it difficult to decide! Helpful and kind staff, nice atmosphere and food, nothing exceptional but a lovely spot.
Well, what more can I say; 5 stars for this amazing âmust visitâ cafĂ© at Leigh-on-Sea! Amazing decor, amazing coffees, amazing service, but most of all⊠amazing food & desserts. Whatever I tried was excellent! Cook & flavour wise. If u r in the area, donât miss it!!!! MUST HAVE: Lemon - Meringue pie!!!! Heaven!

Stopped in here with some visiting family members for a light lunch. Out of all the Broadway eateries, this is one that Iâd never tried before. No pre-booking available so itâs first come first serve, fortunately we didnât have to wait long for a table. The dining area is beautifully decorated, light and airy and there is also the optional outdoor seating, weather permitting. Service was efficient and attentive and the food was very good. There is a varied menu and also a daily Specials board, I was a little disappointed that no salads are offered though. I opted for the Mackerel PĂątĂ© with cruditĂ©s and Melba toast, which was very good indeed. The pĂątĂ© was topped with smoked salmon and the portion was more than generous. My partner had the âBest Bubble in the Worldâ an ample portion of bubble and squeak, topped with two fried eggs. I am told it was a â10 out of 10.â There is also an extremely tempting dessert counter at the front of the restaurant, filled with some amazing looking cakes, which we shall most certainly be returning to sample at some point. What a lovely place for brunch! Staff lovely, menu extensive! Nice to see daily specials too which we could not resist! Amazing cake counter, will definitely return soon.
So good I came in twice in one day. Red velvet latte was amazing and their pancakes and French toast were perfect. Service was great and all the girls were smiley and kind.
My favourite breakfast cafe in Leigh. The food is excellent and the staff so friendly and polite. It is popular but I have never waited too long for a table. The decor is a huge plus, along with the really tasty cakes and treats they sell. Milkshakes are very good as well.
Love this place! Staff are so lovely! Atmosphere great! Sometimes I have coffee , sometimes I eat, sometimes itâs a coffee milkshake đ. Just really enjoy it in there.
A very good place for breakfast or brunch, although the tables and seating can be quite cramped at peak times. There is, however, ample and spacious seating outside - great in summer, but only for the hardy in the winter months - they do provide rugs to keep you warm though đ!
After years and years of custom at Stop The World, we still cannot fault the food.

If you're in Leigh Broadway or visiting the town any time soon then you MUST stop and visit Stop The World! It's really rare that you find a cafe that offers a 5* service for everything they do nowadays - the interior and overall atmosphere, the staff, the food and the drinks are all incredible. I really couldn't recommend it here enough if you're looking for the perfect breakfast/brunch/lunch spot!
Stop the world is a lovely little cafe in Leigh-on-sea with amazing food and nice friendly staff. We stopped here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon, cafe was a bit busy and had to que for about 10mins before getting a table outside. Even though the tables outside are right next to a road, the road has very little traffic so you don't notice it. We had a nice time and would definitely be back sometime in the future.

Great little place, great service, gorgeous decor, delicious cakes and hot drinks. All of the breakfast ingredients are top notch and you can tell. My only gripe was my poached egg was done in a pod, which, for the price you pay here for breakfast, isn't quite right. Would totally visit again though.
