Came in a couple of months ago for afternoon tea with my Mum to celebrate my birthday!
We were fortunate enough to experience the Secret Garden themed room upstairs, and I was honestly blown away by the decor and detail involved. Every single inch was meticulously decorated with either flowers or greenery, and the addition of the garden gate at the entrance and the bird cage really made it feel like you were in the ACTUAL secret garden.
The afternoon tea itself was delicious! Loads of options of both sweet and savoury bites, as well as sandwiches and cake too! There was actually so much that we both took a to-go box home to enjoy it later on. They even put a little candle on a cupcake for me as it was my birthday!
I’d highly recommend you read or are familiar with the story of The Secret Garden before visiting, just so you can fully appreciate the room.
Can’t wait to come back and try another room!
Wow! What an experience! For me, I was a bit overwhelmed, as there was a lot of decor, but the detail they put in each decoration and theme, is amazing. The price was higher than I would normally pay, however, the food was absolutely sublime, and so filling. We ended up taking the rest home with us in a little box, which was cute. The toilets were on the other side of the restaurant, and there were lots of little stairs, so be careful. The staff were attentive, and when I needed a new cup, because I accidentally poured the tea without the strainer, they were happy to hand me a clean one. It's a lovely idea for a little birthday celebration or mother's day.
Went for the Under the Sea Afternoon Tea with a friend, to celebrate our birthdays together and both of us were blown away. From start to finish it's all within the theme. The doors to go inside, set the scene straight away. The food was lovely! I personally hate mayo and normally just pass whatever has it on to someone else in my party to enjoy, but here I was offered the same with it left out. :) It wasn't a problem at all. :) All the food was just great. The cakes were so many, that we both brought some home to enjoy later on. :) Service was friendly, everything was explained really well. We'll def go again! :) I might even pop back for this one with my little girl! :)
First time visit for us, but not the last time for sure. Friendly staff throughout as we where escorted to a mysterious door (I’ll leave the secret up stairs) but must mention the food is amazing. Great portion sizes, large variety of cakes and tea. GOOD scones very good scones which is important to us lol.
Themed music at a good level to allow a good chatter and sets the room to perfection.
Cost to experience is spot on.
Your paying for service, GREAT QUALITY food, and a atmosphere.

My favourite place to have afternoon tea. They are always accommodating with vegetarian and dairy free. If they could accommodate for those with nut allergies then this place would be perfect. I would love to bring my Son who has severe allergies, but unfortunately it wouldn’t be safe for him. I would attend more regularly if it was safe to attend with my family.
Amazing & special. The service was the best, nothing too much trouble, the food was so fresh, they are very accommodating, (thank you ). We upgraded & it was worth every penny. The decor & atmosphere was faultless. My granddaughters loved it 🧜🏻♀️❤️🧜🏼♂️
Came today for my birthday treat, as soon as I walked through the door it was magical. The decor was absolutely stunning, waitresses very friendly, food & drinks delicious. This was on my bucket list and it definitely came up trump's
A wonderful afternoon tea experience- have visited twice for Mary Poppins and Beauty and The Beast themed teas and both were equally wonderful. Theming and decor is incredible, food is delicious. Highly recommend!
Booked A Wizarding Wonder for a 50th birthday. For a non-Harry Potter fan, my better half (and myself!) absolutely loved every minute of our visit. Food was excellent, staff were friendly and professional throughout. So refreshing to not be asked every five minutes "is everything alright with your food" like in many restaurants these days. We were just left to enjoy a magical time..! Can't wait to go back to experience a different themed event. Highly recommended!!

Decorated in the Harry Potter theme. Tasty sandwiches and delicious cakes all named and Decorated in the HP theme. We were handed cloaks to wear as we entered. A truly magical afternoon.
They provided a full diary free option for one of our group.
I can't wait to book the next themed offering!
An extremely long awaited visit to this venue with my mum & me for some quality mother-son time. Their afternoon tea was certainly given the necessary hype but still exceeded what was described to me. Alice in Wonderland theme was something out of a movie, with external designs and props that deserved to be located amongst the best in London itself. The food & tea was so creative and filling, and the staff were dressed in remarkably apt attire, but most importantly, extremely friendly and warming. I couldn’t possibly recommend anymore than 5 stars, but 6 stars would be my choice if applicable. Will be returning, that’s for sure, with entire family in tow.
Thank you so so much for everything, and thanks again for creating another great memory to treasure. Everyone from designers to the staff in the shop, should be extremely proud.

Lovely to experience this again. This time the theme was the Great Gatsby. We really enjoyed the entrance in the lift, it was fun and quite amusing. It just added to the experience.
The staff are really nice and very pleasant. I only gave 4 stars as I wasn’t asked about dietary requirements. I’m a veggie and had a plate of meat sandwiches given. The savoury plates are very stingy, but the cakes are plentiful. The price of the afternoon tea is definitely going on funding the decor.
We had cocktails as extra and they were delicious. It’s a really nice experience, but only somewhere to go now and again as it’s quite pricy for the little that you get.
Wow! What a place! Beautiful interior, gorgeous food and lovely staff. The most selection I've ever had for a vegan afternoon tea, it was delicious. Highly recommend this gorgeous place for a special occasion or... just because 👌 Delightful.
This was our second visit here . The first was to the Mary Poppins tea and this time it was to the Beauty and the Beast tea. Both were equally amazing. As you walk into the room it is like walking into a film set. The attention to detail is amazing. The food each time has been first class and served in beautifully themed ways. Both times we have come away with a box of cakes that we couldn't manage. If you are looking for an extra special afternoon tea then I can definitely recommend Mad Dogs and Englishmen.
Absolutely stunning atmosphere and treated ourselves to the Under The Sea experience. The food was exquisite and with a marvelous cocktail menu to match. We asked to have our tea and coffee in another room afterwards and it was lovely to experience another beautiful room. It is definitely not cheap and if having any other type of coffee you will be charged extra without warning! After spending a lot of money it was a bit of a shock. We would have stayed longer and made an afternoon of it but staff came to clear away and was obvious that they don't encourage that, which is a pity and a complete loss of income. I would recommend these with pre warnings.
Lovely place food nice could do with a few more sandwiches scones arrived late after eating the rest and they gave cardboard bags for what you could not eat tables were only fir two hours as further bookings but that was enough time
Amazing decor, food was wonderful, there was lots of it, and the staff very attentive. They also catered very well for vegetarians and vegans.
