Our first time at The Star today for 7 of us for Sunday lunch. We had to wait quite a while for our food but it was so amazing, well presented and very, very tasty!
The staff deserve a mention too as they were brilliant and so nice and I can see why this place is so busy!

Visited on 01/10/23. Nice pub with great atmosphere. Food was amazing and huge portions! Would highly recommend but book early to avoid disappointment as it was busy!

Went on bank holiday Monday was limited menu but what we had was very tasty and service with a smile so thanx the star 🌟.

I went there with my daughter and two friends to watch the World Cup that was being televised in Australia...We stayed for Sunday lunch after the Football game and the food was well cooked and tasted really lovely. There was plenty of it, even on a small lunch. For the area, the prices were reasonable, and the atmosphere of the pub was friendly and pleasant.

Great food, very large portions. 👌 Sensibly priced too.
Service was a little hap hazard, but very nice staff that wanted you to enjoy your visit. Just needs a little reorganisation and refinement.

We visited the Star for a family roast dinner a couple of weeks ago, the quality of the food was excellent, good service and lovely clean decor. We will be back!

We have had the best experiences here, the food is awesome, the staff so truly friendly and accommodating, nothing is too much trouble, Kerry and Alex go above and beyond, and Libby is a joy. 5* venue, 5* service, 5* food and drinks
