We had a lovely family lunch here on Sunday. We did have to wait quite a long time for food but it was worth the wait, and the service was warm and friendly. Reasonable too!
The best place ever :)))) high recommended
Just check out
My husband and I had a lovely Anniversary meal here last night, thanks Veronica, great food and hospitality!
Don't know what I would do without this pub . Met the best people here . Xx
The Village Swan Pub was the perfect venue to hold my sons birthday party, Veronica an Kirrol could not of been better hosts, nothing was too much trouble they helped us from initial idea of planning the party and helped put together a great tasting BBQ for our friends and family... thank you so much for making it a night to remember...

Great place, great people!
The Village Swan offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere with a landlady who is friendly and hospitable. The menu features a good variety of food options and the beer selection offers a range of options for different preferences.
The monthly bike nights add a unique and enjoyable touch to the pub, making it an excellent spot to gather with friends or meet new people. I’d highly recommend a visit.
First time here and what a fantastic evening watching a band called Mc Vicar. Staff were brilliant. Friendly and Fast at serving. The band were amazing. I like how they got everyone involved. Some people even got up and sang, one being a bloke called by his mates Sexy Tom who went up and sang then played the drums. Made me smile. Great night everyone happy. Got to go again. 👍 5 Stars 🌟 to this Pub. 😃
I booked a table for Sunday Lunch for a family get-together and the food was delicious as well as being a good portion size without being obsessively large. I had the roast beef, which was from the village and it was tender and soft. The Yorkshire was perhaps slightly over done but were still delicious as they are made on site. I will come back again to try their delicious menu, wish I had room for dessert as the Strawberry crumble looked devine.
Returned in 2022 for another roast which was delicious followed by a rum & chocolate cake
Stopped here for a drink after a long walk. Cosy seating area by the fire, very friendly staff & dogs were welcomed.
A wonderful village community pub. Two of my favourite beers Timothy Taylor's Landlord and Tring Sidepocket . The good menu was enticing and my fried chicken and waffles delicious and the chicken tikka kebabs both tasty and generous. Dogs welcome too. Definitely going back.
Staff were exceptional and Sunday roast was the best one ever had in a pub. Will definitely go again.
Great veggie options, fantastic customer service, very friendly with a great music playlist at a comfortable volume. Can't complain at all, loved having lunch here
Sunday lunch for father's Day. Good was spot on as was the service. The roast was perfect for the overcast summer weather and the lemon posset absolutely delicious. We will be back again soon!
Roast was the mutz nutz......the dessert was a hot gooey chocolate fudge brownie with a lush dollop of vanilla ice cream. Sells some ales, craft & lager + bottled beers & ciders. Nice garden & parking...covered smoking area.
We came here for a Sunday roast and we were not disappointed. Met with friendly staff and fantastic service. We had the roast pork which was delicious. The crackling was spot on. The unlimited roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings were a nice touch and we left feeling full and happy. Great food, great service, great pub. We will definately be back.
