Was here for a 60th birthday surprise organised by my family. 14 of us and the service was great, food was phenomenal, and it was all very relaxed. Separate cash and card payments were no bother at all. We had starters and mains, which filled us to the brim. We even got some take out boxes for the left overs! Love this place 🥰
We booked ahead. Just as well as this place is very popular. It was virtually full by 7 PM. Great priced menu with wide choice. Service was a little slower than expected but probably due to the number of customers! Highly recommended.
Some of the best Asian styled food on this island. The chicken korma was amazing and cooked well along with the egg fried rice. The green looking dip was interesting but tasted good. Mint yogurt? Prices are fair also.
Decor and staff were great. I recommend this place highly.
If you live in Lerwick you will know that the restaurant choice is not massive, however Saffron being Nepalese Indian has some different menu dishes worth trying.
I would recommend booking in the busy times, weekends, holidays etc., as it can be full quite quickly.
Decent sized restaurant and was fairly busy but served quick.
The food portion sizes were large than I have had at most Indian restaurants and the quality was good.
Chicken Madras, pilau rice and naan bread, recommended
My food came spilled out of every single container. The person on the phone quoted £20.25 but when we arrived we were charged £30.30. I've yet to check the prices but thats an awful difference in price. Other than that the food was DELICIOUS
Excellent food, very popular restaurant so it can get a bit noisy. Service is good, but staff need to pay more attention to the customers' requests: I asked for tonic water and got soda water. But that's a very minor thing as I drank it anyway.

Fantastic experience. Friendly, polite staff. Service was attentive without being intrusive. Food was delicious and portions generous. Toilets spotlessly clean. Can't say a bad word about this place.
Really excellent takeaway, ordered from them a few times and it has been consistently good. On one occasion they forgot something and we didn’t realise until we got home, they sent it straight away in a taxi with extra poppadoms and chutneys. Great when mistakes a dealt with so well. Now our go to place.

My only comment would be that some of the tables near us weren't cleared at all, despite the customers having been gone for an hour. Otherwise a lovely place to eat.

Staff were very welcoming. Service great & food of good quality & taste. Plenty of wine to choose from. Definitely worth a visit.
