My partner and I recently attended the sourdough masterclass with the head baker and are so happy that we did. The class was fun, informative and we got so much bread to take home! The sourdough starter we received from the class has become our new family member and we’re now baking sourdough bread every week. I never thought I could make amazing bread like this at home! Incredible value 🍞🤎

Great place to come to whenever you’re craving for some good pastries! They make really good pies and sausage rolls here! Great coffee as well and the service was fast! However, we tried their homemade iced chocolate in the bottle and there was abit of slim in the bottle when I drank it and it gave me a bad taste afterwards. Not to sure if it was meant to be like that but it turned me off from their iced chocolate. Hence why I have given them 4 stars instead of a 5. Otherwise their pies, sausage rolls and tarts are amazing! We will definitely be coming back again!

Not my usual pop in for sourdough, cakes and coffee.. Today I stopped and sat, today was about the pie, the beef brisket pie. It’s beef, it’s red wine and it’s mushroom all within a wonderfully flaky pastry. A marvelous mouthful that and coffee was spot on too. Grab a pie, a coffee, a loaf, a tart, and smile.

The bakery is Heaven for pastry lovers, offering an array of freshly baked goods that are simply irresistible. From flaky croissants to Artisanal bread, each bite is a testament to their commitment to quality. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff make the visit even more enjoyable. Don’t miss the chance to savor the treats at Bourke Street Bakery. They do have outdoor seating, where pets are allowed as well. I really enjoyed the croissants and chocolate tart as well as the banana bread.

Ordered the small oat mocha, has a rich coffee + choc flavour, excellent service from a male staff member, shout out to his service, impeccable!🏆 Got 3 pork fennel sausage rolls and the beef potato pie, and had a go with their apple juice. All delish for fam and I to share. Had to wait a tad for them to come out hot within 5-10mins, worth it! Would highly recommend for my locals to keep supporting, but also anyone living further out give Bourke St Bakery Marrickville a chance. It may be difficult to park, but please come and try their hot foods, and equally as great their cold foods and desserts. Come one by, never go wrong with these guys.🫰🏼
