We were invited to the 'soft launch/ staff training event' week-end 2/3 September. Well looked after, freshly cooked brunch -great Hollandaise sauce.! We look forward to returning. The manager we spoke to (Michelle) was considered and an asset!

We came for our anniversary meal on Halloween and had a lovely meal - delicious pork belly! Wanted to highlight to great service from the staff that evening - just the right level of attentive (particularly the girl who greeted &t on our order) We were also surprised with complimentary welcome cocktail and chocolate desert as we were celebrating. Such a nice touch! Will definitely return.
We had lunch in Cote. Ordered two course meal. Both starters and main courses were very nice. Fish dish was absolutely delicious, highly recommend to try.
Came in this morning with my little brother .
Sam and the rest of his team delivered excellent service and hospitality. Mi brother really enjoyed his first time at cote.
The French toast was amongst the best we’ve had for had . Been to 6-7 different Cote restaurants across the country but none came close to this morning
Hopefully we’ll see this fantastic team again who are proud of their job, good and image .

Nice welcome - given time to peruse the menu - the French Onio. Soup starter arrived very quickly and was delicious full of umami depth of flavour - the pork belly main was excellent if I had to any critique it only be that there wasn’t enough jus however more was provided on request yummy dauphinois potato
I couldn’t manage a dessert but my husband had the chocolate tart and declared it to be delicious- highly recommended
I live in Brighton so usually go to that restaurant, which is lovely too, but as this occasion was my sister's birthday and we decided to meet in Lewes we came to this restaurant. We both love Cote Brasserie. The food is always of a high standard and the ambiance, setting and staff are always perfect. We really enjoyed our lunch here and it was great to see some customers also enjoying a Friday lunch, but good for us that the restaurant wasn't crowded, which we prefer. This particular restaurant was laid out really well and I think I preferred it to the Brighton branch. Thank you so much.

Went for a late lunch at Cote Lewes yesterday. Staff were relatively busy running around but extremely courteous towards all dinners and managing them impeccably! The young chap who served us was smart, very well dressed, confident and essentially super polite and friendly. He not just took care of our food and beverages while we were there but when my husband asked what's there to look around/ site see in Lewes. He mentioned he was from Brighton. He asked what we like to do as family and came up with an itinerary for when we are next in Brighton (which isn't very far from Lewes). How thoughtful of him it was to spare time for us during his busy hours to make us feel welcomed! He looks like a promising hospitality candidate for a future employer. Not sure what he would wish to pursue in future but will outshine in hospitality for his mannerisms and presentability. Overall food was delicious as always. Irish Whisky was just how I like it. Very well maintained and clean premises and very well trained staff.
We went early so restaurant was empty so can't comment on atmosphere.
Fish pie was nice.
Croque monsieur was a bit strange. Very thick bread. My husband said it was a bit dry.
Starters were OK. Pate very nice as was the calamari. A few more calamari woukd have been nice and maybe 4 slices of bread for the pate as they were quite small.
The service as always was attentive and friendly - small details like offering to take coats make theg difference. Food was fresh and tasty. As an older person I found the subtle lighting made it harder to read the menu, but I realise it contributes to ambience.
Handsome staff. This place is best to call ahead and get reservations, but will take walk in if they have availability. Food and service outstanding. Reasonable priced for the quality you get.
