Had lunch on Bank Holiday Monday in May .Great service & food . We all had some thing different ( 4 in party) l had the soup & Welsh rarebit ,both very tasty.
Just a lovely place to stop for a light lunch. We stop here everytime We are in Lewes. Nice quiet atmosphere and lovely lunch time food.
Lovely friendly staff and a very nice afternoon tea. Very pretty outlook to rear (private) garden. Good selection of light lunches and cakes available. Will definitely return on our next visit to Lewes.
Good food, good service. Tables well spaced. But they did serve people who came in after us before they served us!

Very nice, had lunch there today for the first time. Has smoked salmon salad, thought it was a tad expensive till I saw the dish. Amazing!! Loads of prawns and smoked Salmon, very good pot of tea, a proper value for money lunch. Warm welcome, good friendly service, in a clean bright environment 😀. Thanks
We went in for a quick late lunch and had a very tasty meal and great service.
Only people in there but was almost closing time. We had a quick drink and a slice of millionaire's shortcake. Everything came out very speedily which was fabulous as we had a train to catch. Great location on route from the town to the station.
Bloody good breakfast, one of the best I've had and not bad on price though I'm a fan of tea or a simple coffee included but it's not my cafe! ☺️. And afterall, you've gotta make some money or we'll all be stuck eating at Bills! Zzzzz.

Had such a lovely lunch today. We both had the huge jacket potatoes with tuna and coronation chicken with a lovely salad and coleslaw. Such a beautiful cafe and the owner and the girl are so pleasant and great customer service. A defo visit when in Lewes
Delightful cosy space, calm atmosphere, considerate and generous family proprietors. We received the kindest attentive service, delicious food and ease to enjoy without rushing at the end of the day. I can't wait to return!

Really good varied menu. I had 2 cheese scones, whilst a little dense were very tasty. My husband had egg sandwiches which were fresh & tasty. Also good latte.
We visited the cafe this morning for tea, hot chocolate and cake (a bit early for cake but not when you are 15 apparently) The staff were lovely and friendly and the service excellent. Will definitely be back when we are next in town.
