Waterstones - Lewes - Photo album

Absolutely wonderful, people focussed bookshop. This is why I should shop less on Amazon and more in person. The lady serving us (Emma) was so kind. We were traipsing the high street on a busy Saturday looking for somewhere to breastfeed my 3month old baby. Everywhere was heaving and we caught a gli
A solid Waterstones with a huge range of books. A pretty big children's section too and a few tables to eat or have a hot drink from their in house barista. There's a lot of sections, fiction, crime fiction, sci Fi, children's, travel, history, politics etc. A number of tables with curated selection
Great staff, thanks for helping us find what we were looking for. So friendly, great range, and fab coffee too.
Several rooms full of books and games etc. There's some seating and a counter serving tea & coffee. I do like coming in here for the calm and a browse. Usually leaving with a new and inspiring book to devour.
Such a lovely place for a coffee cake and chat. The cake was amazing
This is a great place to go for a coffee and a browse. There is suitable seating and the quality of the drinks is great. The staff a friendly and helpful with aa good knowledge of the books in stock. The store does get quite cold and the toilet facilities are in need of some attention and updating.
I was pop in just for time pass as other friends were busy in their own activities. Good location just in a small high street of Lewes. Nice size of store with full shelves of books. Now a days reading is so helpful. Staff was good too.
Beautiful double fronted building, one of the nicest branches of Waterstones I've visited. It's laid out like a delightful maze of books interspersed with great gifts such as board games, gorgeous diaries and notebooks, soft toys, stationery etc. They have a café where the till is so if your happy p
Brilliant shop with a good atmosphere and nice coffee. Helpful, cheerful staff and wonderful range of books. A good high street bookshop is a rare sight nowadays.
A wonderful, lovely bookstore with loads of children's books at an affordable price. Plenty of seating and reading spaces.Ay least one open book to review it you dont believe in judging the book by its cover. Which is important for kids books. The cofee and snacks are great too
Tried out Waterstones Cafe in Lewes, good quality coffee and range of cakes. The cakes I thought were a little on the expensive side bearing in mind that it's not an actual Coffee shop.
Lovely place to relax , take it in and read. Larger than many cafes, and nice to have a theme other than coffee in addition to coffee
Lovely bookshop with a proper old fashioned feel, lots of cosy corners, but with modern amenities such as coffee and cake ! Helpful and friendly staff.
A good range of books on offer, nicely layed out. Small coffee shop and cakes.
One of the best bookshops ... always well stocked and enjoys an upbeat and happy vibe. The girls on the till were lovely ... the guy on the till could be a bit more smiley.
Lovely branch of Waterstones, has a café in it and the staff are friendly and helpful. Great selection of games, gifts and diaries as well as books.
I was glad to see Lewes had a bookshop, as growing up we did not have much. It is not a large Waterstones, but has a decent selection. We were after anime, which it really did not have, though I understand it is a fairly small market.
