Great little cafe just off the main road at the back of a small industrial area.
Sitting on the side of a lake, they had ducks, geese and chickens roaming around their grass seating area for kids to watch.
Breakfast wasn't bad at all, amd very nice sitting outside to enjoy it
Great little place. Good value food. Great location.
Another visit today, and the friendly service was great as always.
Would be good if they did more vegan options like vegan sausage sandwich or vegan sausages to go with breakfast.
Despite this, its a great place and will keep coming back for good home cooked style food.
Had an absolutely scrumptious breakfast this morning. The staff were lovely. We'll definitely be back ☺️
Great Food and Sevice.. always very friendly staff..cannot fault it.
Had an amazing hunters chicken here today, i saw the chickens and the lovley white bird. My partner got the roast and said it was very filling and tasted great. The cafe was very clean and service was quick. Going back next week to have the mega breakfast!😃
Good service. Motorbike friendly. Lovely breakfast 🍳
1st visit, so impressed, polite friendly staff, and so clean great food 👌
Lots of multi-coloured chickens guarding the front door. I think they liked the warmth. Food was good home-cooked cafe things. Good choice of hot and cold drinks. Handy if you are visiting one of the local retail outlets at the same location. The place has a strong Elvis theme - lots of black & white photos from the '50s and a couple of full size Elvis mannequins.
Lovely cafe but very very expensive ! we where charger £36.40 for 3 x cups of tea, 2 x egg and beacon butty and a bowl of cheesy chips.
Thank you to the team, the above error was rectified quickly and i have now updated this review.
We camped nearby and visited three times in 36 hours! Delicious breakfasts and cakes, friendly welcoming staff - nothing too much trouble, very clean and reasonably priced. A hidden gem!
The cafe is tucked away towards the back of an industrial estate, but what a lovely place. If the weather is nice there is a lovely seating area for use by cafe visitors which overlooks a lake with friendly birds. Inside it is comfortable, neat and tidy, with friendly service. As a family we had tasty fried breakfasts, cheese & bacon panini, tea, coffee, and iced coffee. My son had what he described as a beautiful chocolate sandwich cookie. All in all, a very nice spot to spend an hour having a bite to eat. We would recommend.
Such a wonderful independent cafe. Good menu choices and always tasty food. Friendly staff as well. We often come in when at masterpiece next door and really like supporting independents like these. Breakfast is lovely
Real homecooked food, perfect.
Nice quirky little cafe, plenty to choose from, with food and drinks (even alcohol!!
The card machine is hit and miss, doesn't always work, tried it for or 5 times standing around waiting for about 10mins, luckily I had cash on me to still pay!! But with a tired toddler and warm weather it wasn't the best!
Ordered a cheese burger and chips, it was your typical greasey spoon kinda burger really but thick not like thin pattys, but unfortunately as I got half way through it is was still a bit undercooked. And a iced caramel latte, hardly taste any caramel, and had bits of the filtered coffee floating around.
I also got a kids meal, chicken nuggets chips and beans!! Nuggets were very nice, whole chucks of chicken breast and not formed!! But be careful as it came out stonkingly hot!!
The prices are fair and average really. I total I spent around £23 for 1 cheeseburger and chips, with a side of onion rings. A kids chicken nuggets, chips and beans, a carton of ribena, a iced coffee and bottle of ice tea!
First time visit, as goggle randomly recommended it for me! Wasn't disappointed. It does seem a hidden gem for sure, as I would have never of known it was there otherwise in the estate!
Lots to look at with vibrant, feel good vibes (Elvis helps!). Staff were so genuinely lovely and we were made to feel welcome (there needs to be more people like them in retail nowadays.)
I had the blueberry scones and my Dad had the raspberry as we'd just missed breakfast. They are super filling but tasted great. We only managed one each! Would have been nice if they had been warmed slightly as they were a bit dry for my Dad, however we will come back again for sure!
Did not expect to see Geese and a peacock on the way out either! 😆
Only had coffee but after seeing the food come out we will definitely go back to eat. Great value, good choice on menu and lovely outside space for the summer.
V friendly, nice food & a nice setting
