Old style pub with beams. Lovely food with competitive prices. We didn't venture upstairs but it looks amazing up there. Enter your car registration number into the terminal inside and you get free parking. Loads of spaces there when we went.
Visited yesterday evening with my children. We were allowed to sit in the quiet area down by the fish pond and with both of my children having extra needs this really helped. A lovely blonde female served our drinks and we ordered via the app. Service was 100% Food was great!! Thank you all for maki
Great pub, food looked nice even though we didn’t eat but maybe next time! Plenty of parking, friendly staff, good select drinks and reasonably priced! Plenty of seating inside and outside too!
Popped in for the two for 13.99 menu, restaurant was empty and if I’m honest a little cold, they have some weird fish pond in the dining area , which I suppose kids would like. Would pop in if passing again, but wouldn’t make a special trip to visit again
Beautiful, historical location which is dog friendly on non carpeted areas. Enjoyed a Merlot and the sharing platter with Scampi. Not much choice on real ales though other than Doombar and Abbot Ale (and a Christmas one). Fast and friendly service, with great menu choices at a reasonable price.
I took an elderly lady of 90 here for a quiet lunch. We were shown to a room downstairs, which was difficult for her. It was a room for families, there were noisy children running around. We enjoyed our senior meal very much, but when it came to having a desert we asked for somewhere quieter. We wer
I would give a 1 for the food however the service from Robdog Stewart made this experience a delight. His service was like no other as he whispered sweet nothings in my ear. I felt tingles when he caressed my neck and seductively said ‘how was ur food? Was it… delectable’ his hands brushed my trouse
Lovely big pub with loads of parking (be sure to log your registration on the terminal once inside!) I haven't eaten here so I can't comment on the food they serve but as part of the Greene King group you'll most likely know what to expect, friendly staff and in my experience good service.
Nice place to visit if you’re looking for great food.
Lovely meal for our daughters birthday, really quick service with delicious food. A special thanks to Melanie for all you did to make it a very special meal.
Lovely food much better since it changed over to green king than what it used to be a few years ago x me and my sister had the scampi and Hunters chicken (in the 2 for £10.99 menu)
A nice pub. OK pub grub menu and price. Available space on a Saturday night without booking. What's not to like. Not quite 5 star but it's not expensive.
