If I could give 10 out of 5 stars then I would for sure!! I brought my mum to this superb Restaurant for a Birthday Surprise for her 81st Birthday on the 1st September . My mother and father both loved to come to Tennants auction house to buy whenever they could so I felt this would be a very memorable and Special Birthday lunch dining here and I was not disappointed !! We were greeted by a very attentive and smart Restaurant manager on arrival and given a choice of where we would like to sit. The restaurant is very elegantly designed and decorated and the tables all looked very smart. We chose our food from a wonderful and varied selection and the prices were extremely reasonable I have to say too for food of this high quality and the presentation was outstanding!! While waiting for our meal the manager brought my mum a birthday card from all the staff in the GARDEN ROOMS and a little box of handmade chocolates which I really did not expect and my mum immediately welled up by this extremely kind thought! Much to our Surprise while we were waiting for our main course The Manager then brought out a tray of two gorgeously tasting home baked small bread rolls one wholemeal & the other baked with goats cheese with a choice of special flavoured butters and a dish of balsamic and oil dressing with sea salt as a courteous pre lunch offering , this it would seem is the norm and again usually you would have to pay well for a starter of this quality in a restaurant and this was a Given !! Our meals followed shortly along with drinks and the manager served all of this in white gloves which I noticed to me this just added to the excellent standard that was being set in this restaurant! The food was beautifully presented and extremely delicious and after our meal we both chose desserts from again a very tempting desserts range I have to say and again presentation, flavours and taste were outstanding and an absolute credit to the chefs that work there!! We followed our desserts with coffee and tea and again the Manager had yet another beautiful surprise for my mum from the chefs a plate of various little petit-fours on a plate with Happy Birthday piped in liquid chocolate with a little candle to blow out! What can I say But a Massive THANK YOU to you all for making my mums birthday a very Special and memorable one with wonderful attentive service , ambiance , and fantastic creative, tasty food all cooked and prepared to the Very highest Standard. I have no doubt we will be returning again and we will certainly recommend your restaurant to our friends for sure .

A simply stunning venue - offering so much to so many! We have valued your auction opportunities this year,followed by snacks in your restruant area. However the evening of three musicians followed by a scrumptious meal topped the list even if very late in the evening. Thank you Tennants - we will be back in 2018.

Delicious Sunday lunch in a lovely setting, top service, welcomed and served by super attentive, efficient staff, excellent all round. Won't be long before we return.

My husband and I came for a Father's day treat today. The Gentleman's Afternoon Tea was delicious and presented beautifully. There was so much we had to fetch some home to enjoy later. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The restaurant was relaxing and comfortable.

Great food and the staff were excellent! Beautiful surroundings and great value too, will definitely be back.

I went for an exhibition at the latter part of last year, what an amazing place. I couldn't believe the varied selection of food, snacks and drinks available, Superb. The Garden Room is really smart and the staff friendly and welcoming. The terrace is just a perfect place to relax and enjoy your refreshments and the ambience of a great venue. I'm looking forward to getting back there in the coming weeks.

I was there for a help the heroes gala ball and it was amazing! The rooms were beautiful and the food and service was excellent.

Beautiful hall, attended a wedding and it was stunning - beautiful decor, spacious, high ceilings. Would love to visit again.

Lovely venue. Best for wedding and other ceremony. Multiple rooms. Massive main hall accompanying with galleries. Spacious reception area. Was there for family wedding. Really enjoyed it. Photo booth and dessert bar were in separate rooms to avoid congestion. Massive car park. Nice and clean place.

Well we would have liked to look around this lovely building and it's facilities more than we had time for. We were there for refreshments after a memorial service. The catering and staff were first class. Some photos of the forthcoming auctions to be held in the display cabinets.

Went for Sunday lunch. Decent choice on the menu, including sea bass fillets and 2 veggie options. I had ham/chicken terrine, pork roast, and Eton mess. All of which were good helpings, very good quality and served by friendly and efficient staff. We thought the cost was very reasonable given the ambience, surroundings etc, and would certainly return.
