Great little place, good food, fantastic staff. The place to good you are sick of commercial brand coffee houses
Thank you KTeas for a brilliant afternoon tea. Should we keep it a secret, to surprise? Generous portions of lovely sandwiches, scone, butter, jam & cream then our choice of cake. All freshly prepared. Lovely staff, very attentive without intrusion. When our afternoon tea arrived at the table all the other occupants at the tables turned around to look in awe. They do not offer a sparkling afternoon tea but you can bring your own & pay corkage. The cakes on the sideboard were very special. Highly recommend a visit. Anyone with a special 4 legged friend also welcome. All the dogs in today beautifully behaved. Jackie, thank you for a fun afternoon! XX
Excellent tea room, beautiful coffee served by very polite staff and dog friendly didn’t have any thing to eat (just had Breakfast at hotel but food looked good
We went here yesterday before we went to the forbidden corner......had tea and the coffee cake which was lovely.....really liked the quirkiness of the place x and the staff are really friendly and welcoming
Fantastic place, accommodated a large party with kids as well. Nothing to much trouble and would recommend to all
Absolutely gorgeous the cakes were lovely. I had Raspberry and Lemon delicious.
Would definitely recommend it
Recommended by friends who live in leyburn, didn't disappoint. Lunch for me and my two little girls who loved the wonderland theme almost as much as I did. Although it was busy we were served quickly and courteously and the food was lovely. Only slight negative was not taking card payments but we will be back!
Excellent service, friendly staff and more importantly the food was excellent ( I had the soup with a toasted cheese scone it was divine)

We popped into Leyburn to visit the summer craft fair at Tennants; having got into Leyburn too early we stopped for a coffee at Kteas. The staff were so friendly, the coffee excellent and the cake (it would be rude not to) was delicious. If you are passing or indeed visiting make sure you visit this lovely tea shop.
The Red Pepper and Wensleydale soup we had yesterday was amazing. Will definitely be returning to this lovely place.
Called in for a quick sandwich whilst passing through Leyburn and was tempted by the wide selection of cakes on offer. Opted for the Queen of Hearts Tea, which consisted of four finger sandwiches, two scones (choice of cheese or fruit/plain with jam and cream), two more cakes from the wide selection on offer and tea or coffee. It was delightfully presented in a wicker picnic basket, and the second cake we chose was packed in a separate box to take home.
Every single element was delicious and really tasty. Best cream tea we have had and excellent value at only £16.95. Cream teas are our favourites and we've paid much more for less.
The Queens Picnic Hamper is brilliant. Really enjoyed our afternoon meal in this lovely cafe. Very friendly and welcoming staff.
Best bacon and brie panini I've had! The selection of teas and cakes were amazing too and the boot shaped glasses for the milkshakes are adorable! Really sweet little place.
Delicious afternoon tea for one. Friendly staff in a spotlessly clean, quirky café. A return visit is on the cards.
Super friendly people and yummy food. They even managed to make a ploughman's for takeaway (the walk bounced it around a bit but it still tasted amazing).

20th September 2020.
5 of us 4 adults 1 child (7) had lunch and cake 🍰🎂 and drinks, delicious 😋 food and excellent service. Would recommend to anyone.
K-Teas Cakes is a quaint place that I happened upon between visiting castles and I was not disappointed at all!
The staff were very friendly, we were seated straight away and their covid measures were evident through-out.
I loved the Alice in Wonderland feel with lost of intriguing objects! I also enjoyed the Halloween window display!
We ordered the Rarebit and the Cheese & Pickle sandwich, both came with salad and crisps - delicious! Only word for it! I couldn't even finish the salad because I was full up. The size for the amount is amazing! The produce was also locally sourced which I thought was brilliant. I also liked the little bread loaf that came with the soup on the table next to us! It looked so cute :)
We didn't get to try the cakes, but they looked AMAZING that we will be back to try a slice.
If you're in the area this place is definitely make a visit - a lot of variety in a cute gem!
Visited today with our Dog. Made very welcome and fabulous three layered cakes. Best Tea Room Coffee and Cakes we have had during our week's Holiday and we would highly recommend them.
There is only way to evaluate a good cake and that is Is it or is it not worth the calories? Definitely worth the calories and I would definitely call in again next time we are in Leyburn. A real treat.
Dog friendly! Attentive server who was diligent and very thorough in providing safe service during Covid. Beautiful scones! I had Wensleydale cheese and a superb chutney with mine. My wife had clotted cream and jam with her's. Outstanding. Also, a great cup of tea.
Dog friendly themed cafe. Staff very friendly. Nice and warm on a cold day. Soup of the day beautiful with warm cheese scone. Portion sizes are great. A lovely themed cafe selling lovely cakes and teas. Definitely worth a visit.
What a wonderful little gem of a tea shop. We had beautiful Lemon Meringue cake and Lemon and Raspberry cake along with tea out of a tea pot. ... very cute and safe in covid times. We sat outside on the brightly coloured tables and enjoyed the treat very much.
