A lovely place to stay on the way back from Scotland. Food was fantastic We had steak and ale pie..Friends had fish and meat platters which looked fab. Rooms were nice clean and tidy. A lovely stay. We stayed in room 3. We had 6 rooms as a group and everyone seemed pleased.

Lovely pub, good selection of local (distilled in leyburn!) Gin, wide choice of on tap drinks. They weren’t serving food when we visited but their menu looked good too. Girl behind the bar was lovely :)
Incredible food! 10/10. We came in without a booking (7 of us) and everybody's food was outstanding. Was not expecting it to be that good. The fish and chips, steak pie and club sandwich were excellent. Friendly staff, dog friendly and quick as well. Highly recommend!
Called in on the off chance for Sunday lunch. Lots of tables reserved but we was found a table. The food was delicious and hot. Recommend the beef. Although the pork looked good too. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Will definitely call again.
Stopped by for a Sunday lunch today. It was absolutely beautiful. Great value for money. Roast beef, home made Yorkshire and fresh vegetables really tasty and the gravy too! Will be back. Thank you to the friendly staff who served us.

Another warm and friendly pub on the market square ⛶, couldn't fault it, good selection of food 🍲 as well as beers and has accommodation, also plenty of seating outside . There is something about the Dales towns that are so lovely.
