Excellent pub, staff nice and friendly, bar prices very reasonable. Back room has a pool table, customers lovely, invited us to play.

Refurbished a couple of years ago by Craft Union this is a great pub. The prices are very low and the beer is well looked after, the cheap prices attract a certain clientele but not as bad as some other pubs.
There's a good selection of lagers, ciders, and spirits, but unfortunately only 2 cask ales.
During the day there are times when the pub appears to resemble a crèche with unaccompanied kids sitting at tables and running around - maybe a sign of the times but annoying just the same.

Very busy place in a wonderful city. Beer was excellent. Staff were officiant. Beer prices were good. Well worth a visit if you're a drinker.

Very nice place, friendly and efficient staff and a good choice of beers and great play to watch sport on the in-house TV's. Beer garden at the rear of the pub which also has a TV.

Really enjoy this pub had a great time tonight and the group playing in the back room the fantastic landlady very friendly all of the staff a friendly if you want a good night out it's not a bad place to go

Great place, food,wood fires and heated outdoor leather seating. This is an excellent pub with great service and freshly cooked pies to order. It is a true listed building illuminated by the three spires of Lichfield cathedral. The bands are absolutely brilliant and worth a train trip every time. Take a look, it's good fun and friendly too.

Great ales / beers, open mic nights, live music, small smoking area, friendly staff. Each lil room has a slightly different feel. Watch out for the record sales in the back room on a weekend!
