The Lichfield Tea Company

This is a tea and coffee company with a wonderful cafe/restaurant called Nourish. We visited today and just loved it! We'd only popped in for a hot drink and maybe cake but one look at the menu and we decided to have lunch!! The food is different, very tasty and just great!! R had a toasted halloumi, harrissa and honey sandwich (brilliant) while I had tomatoes and avocado on toast, but zingy (?) tomatoes, very fresh, and just lovely. Ben served us tea, coffee, bread pudding and a brownie for "pudding" but there was a really good selection of cakes available, we might work through the list! The tea and coffee selection to buy to take away was vast as was the tea and coffee making paraphernalia!! Just stunning. The service was friendly and informative, nothing was a problem. This could well become a regular treat!!

Actually hot, hot drinks! There amount of places that can't get this right, finally got a hot drink that is actually hot. The coffees were nice and come in a thermal glass. There is a nice outdoor seating area and inside there are some games/toys for young children which was brilliant for keeping our little ones entertained until their snacks came.

At the centre, there's great tea products; huge variety, high quality and affordable. Once you buy some, you'll keep coming back to ensure you have stocks at home. For a company named after tea, you might be surprised at the quality of food on offer inside. The menu is well thought out and includes good vegetarian options. Food comes out incredibly fast. Whilst eating in you can of course sample a tea before buying more to enjoy at home. The staff are super friendly. The Lichfield Tea Company are doing great things - get involved if you haven't already.

Absolutely fantastic tea, coffee and cake! The new chap who had recently started was really thoughtful, pleasant and helpful. The slow pour Colombian Jazz coffee was 👌👌👌 and the English breakfast loose leaf tea was divine. Aaaand the Guinness chocolate cake and the apple and caramel cake were fantastic 🍰 We agreed we'd come back to Heart of the Country just for here!

I heard about this place from a previous visit to a Café at Barton Marina, who gets their tea from The Lichfield Tea Company, so I thought I'd try the source. A lovely little set out unit within "The Heart of The Country Village" in Swinfen. Real Tea and Flavoured Coffee Beans. From Infusers to Tea Pots. Everything you need for a proper drink. "Nourish", within, you can purchase a drink of any flavour tea or coffee. An experience in drinking. Great Staff and Great Service. A pleasure to eat and drink there. Highly Recommended.
