Thoroughly recommend this restaurant
A superb fine dining establishment! Amazing food with truly excellent flavour combinations throughout the menu. The staff are very welcoming, friendly, professional and attentive!
We ate there for my mums 70th. Fantastic. Probably the best Salmon I've ever had. Really good food, good portion size and great ambiance and decor. Service was very friendly and welcoming. You probably gathered we really enjoyed it.
Can't rate the rooms as we only used the restaurant - which was excellent. We ate from the a la carte menu & opted to have the recommended wines; my French guests were particularly impressed by the lamb. Service was friendly & attentive & not intrusive. The dining room was warm & welcoming on a wet March evening. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Lincoln & would certainly eat here again.

We went for dinner last Saturday. Boy oh boy what an experience.
We were passing through after a very tough day and were looking for a place to have a nice dinner just the two of us, no kids.
After looking at a couple of options we decided for the bronze pig and arrived at the place with not a lot of expectations, but knowing it had a great reputation.
The place is quirky and lovely. The manager/owner Pompeo and the front of the house team are very lovely and chatty and will engage with people and were very helpful.
Now the food.
It Is amazing. We had a very lovely dinner. Starter with the Beef Reuben, pig and seabass as mains and the sheep milk panna cotta as dessert.
The flavours are in general very strong (with the exception of the seabass) and the chef seems to prefer very punchy combinations with his preparations which is something that I personally enjoy.
The drinks menu is quite complete as well from very fancy and pricy options to very much affordable ones.
100% endorsed!
Lovely food but at a price. We like to go here for special occasions. You do get what you pay for though. Small but constantly varying menu.
We had a great time at the bronze pig. We ordered the chefs vegan taster menu and we were not disappointed, every dish was perfectly balanced and thought though, and came with pairing wines. The miso cauliflower with cabbage noodles was our favourite. The owner was very attentive and made conversation, we felt very looked after and at ease. It felt like a very personable experience. We would defiantly come to the bronze pig again.
A 4-room location over a grand restaurant. Rooms are lovely, bathroom spectacular.
Visited the restaurant during the busiest weekend in Lincoln - was an oasis of calm service, good food and excellent wine. Everything was well prepared, my only suggestion would be to offer some vegetable sides. Look forward to our return.
Wanted to go here for years and my partner booked as a surprise for me. Inside is beautiful, decorated perfectly. The food was stunning. The main man out the front of house was the perfect host. The down side was we were left a little forgotten about in the corner and our finished dinner plates were not collected for over 15mins and the same with empty glasses whilst other tables were served and cleared around us. We had to call the waiter to us to clear and request the menus for further drinks and dessert, not a massive issue but left us feeling a little unwanted there which was a shame. On the whole though, beautiful place
An extremely wonderful evening had by all. The chef's taster menu was delicious from start to finish. We went with the drinks menu included which complimented each course.
The owner and staff were extremely attentive and will definitely be back again.
Thank you
Food was absolutely stunning, we ate from the A la Cartê menu and thoroughly enjoyed it. The service however left much to be desired, the waiter barely acknowledges us, we were left without drinks, we were not asked if everything was okay or if we required any drinks etc he just dumped our plates in front of us and walked off, had the guy been rushed off his feet I'd understand but we were the only diners in the restaurant. We didn't feel very welcome which made our experience less enjoyable
Just to clarify, I didn't stay in the hotel, just had dinner.
I was recommended this restaurant by a neighbour as The Old Bakery was closed down.
High quality restaurant. It looks elegant and refined, from the large china oriental vases to the ceiling lights, cristal chandeliers. The choice of materials, textures, all exudes quality. The bold paper and brightly colour murals on the wall are interesting and the chairs/armchairs delightful to look at and sit, all combining very well.
The food was delicious: beautifully cooked and elegantly presented, the combination of flavours and textures singing in harmony.
Starter of miso glazed pork belly and main of plaice: I particularly loved the combination of the pork, perfectly cooked almost melting in your mouth, with the saltiness of the eel. My main was really good as well and the dessert, pistachio and peach. (Port poached peach/pistachio macaroon/manuka honey) good but perhaps the weakest.
The Pinot Noir Gran Riserva (Leyda Valley) complemented very well a wonderful meal.
The owner, Pompeo, has created a high quality restaurant with a great atmosphere. The food is delicious, staff great and service excellent. Highly recommended.
Really wonderful night away at the Bronze Pig. Accommodation was comfortable and furnished beautifully. Restaurant was amazing, food delicious. The staff were so friendly and the owner kindly squeezed us in at late notice. Such a lovely evening we will definitely be returning. Thank you for making our stay so warm and welcoming.
The food was outstanding the staff were very entertaining and extremely smart, will definitely revisit next time in Lincoln, the decor was really nice
