This has become our favourite place to meet. We are a small group of friends and have been here now 3 times after a driveout or just to meet up. We are always welcomed and accommodated promptly. We call to see if there is space but never actually book. Ques for the carvery can sometimes be long, however I see that as a good sign that the food is good. It doesn't disappoint as the food is lovely. The cakes are absolutely amazing, but either leave room or ask for a box to take away with you. Staff are helpful and attentive. I have found some customers to be rude and impatient when the staff are clearly busy and attending to other customers.
Really enjoyed the food and the service was top notch. Even though they were a bit overrun they were all very polite and checked in often but not too often.
Would definitely recommend for a casual meal or a party gathering.
Had Hallomi fries chilly dip, starter, and then fish shop platter, order at bar, fries arrived with in 5 mins nice and hot then the platter, hot crispy batter, and good price, could have gravey or curry and garden or mushy peas, not rushed and staff were attentive checking everything was okay, didn't book but was stay in hotel, no problem to get table, Atmosphere was good in the restaurant, just hard when on your own.

Good tasty pub food with generous portions. If you want cake desert please make room as they are big portions. The staff are very friendly and welcoming.
Me and my brother went to windmill farm this evening! We had a lovely Carvery and we were served by Lauren she was so polite and really lovely! Ask how our meals went and when we had dessert too and ask us if we needed anything else which is lovely and you don’t always get this in restaurants! So I just wanted to say thank you Lauren for a nice experience we really enjoyed our meals and your services you brought to me and my brother! much this evening! Really appreciated it! Xx

Huge carvery but so busy that you have to contend with a substantial queue. That’s the only reason to lose a star.
Food was tasty and great portion sizes. Prices are on par.
Popped in for a quick carvery on way past.
Got seated right away and although only one server at the bar with lots of guys having an after work drink, paid and brought drink fairly quickly.
Lovely carvery,lots of veg, cooked well and most importantly - very good roast potatoes indeed! Yum 😋
Absolutely delicious food. We all had mixed grill. Service was spot on.
Second time of visiting and wasnt as good. My son had mixed grill again. Chicken was missing. However, this was rectified straight away. I decided to go for the tikka masala. It was nice but the pappadum was chewy not crispy and the naan bread was hard.

We are a group of 14 family members of ages 3 to 56 years ..sometimes more as we bring more family ! We regularly come for Sunday carvery and occasional week day visits. We have always found ALL staff are always polite and very accommodating, the food is always plentiful and tasty (deducted 1 star as sometimes and only sometimes the Brussels are a little hard for our liking). The portion sizes on all meals and starters are more than enough and the cakes are absolutely AMAZING! The added bonus is you can take them away and any food you can't finish and they are well boxed. Yes it can be busy but that just shows how good it is and its definitely worth a little wait if you do have one. I can't really say anything bad because in the last year we have been coming its just been perfect for all of us. This weekend was mega busy but they opened up a function room and set up a second kitchen rather than turn people away and yet as busy as it was the staff were still amazing as was the food. Hats off to you Windmill Farm and ALL your staff. Our almost weekly visits will continue 😁

Such a great venue for a wedding. Rooms were spot on as well as service and food. Also meeting for breakfast and having a nice catch up of the day was great. Really well looked after highly recommended
Buffet breakfast with coffee for a £10 can't go wrong. Still plenty for me even after a group of Harley Davidson riders had enjoyed their breakfast.

The food is delicious and there is a brilliant selection. We visited a few weeks ago and there was quite a rude lady in front of us requesting all of her money back and the staff were very patient with her when she was being rude. Well done!

Nice carvery, but disappointed that a lot of the options, especially the mashed potatoes, have dairy products in them. There are so many good alternatives nowadays.

Dianne our server was lovely, as was the gentleman serving carvery food. Food delicious, hot and great portions. Brilliant value for money. Had to have a doggie box to take leftovers home!

Sian was our waitress and she was very warm, welcoming and friendly. She helped us find a table to cater for our pushchair so we could tuck it out the way and checked on us periodically to ensure we were ok and had everything we need. In fact all of the staff that we encountered were lovely, friendly and helpful and they go the extra mile to make our dining experience relaxed and enjoyable. My wife and I both had the beyond burger and they were very nice, well cooked and tasty. I then had the giant éclair and it didn't disappoint, always very nice.
Overall I can't sing the praises of Sian and the team enough, they do an amazing job and we will definitely be returning again and again and the 20% bluelight card discount is a nice bonus 😊
Great burger for me and a great Sunday roast for my wife and the Mars cake I had for desert was delicious. Always good meals here, will be coming again
