2nd visit and not disappointed absolutely loved the Italian platter, truly delicious and well presented. Definitely recommend x
Had a wonderful first visit today for Mother's day. A beautiful venue. Sam our waiter was amazing! Nothing was too much trouble. We did ask him for alot! Food was great. My partner is a coliac and enjoyed the gluten free menu. A good variety of food. Very tasty. We will be back again
Food was perfect service was great bubbly staff gave us anything we asked for great with the kids and I can honestly say yes the food is great but I could just pop up and see the older but young at heart waitress every weekend kept my boy in order and your just a pleasure to be around very homely and a welcoming place to be �

Food is to die for. Little more expensive then other places but food tastes fantastic. You get what you pay for.
Restaurant it top condition clean and very well decorated. Feels very posh and to be treated nice by the staff made out sunday dinner worth coming out for.
Just taken my Son and Daughter for his 16th, they and I absolutely loved it. The service was impeccable and the food fantastic. The Millionaire Cheesecake was to die for. Definitely recommend it. And will be going again.

I been to this pub for a meal a couple of times now and each time it has been fantastic.
The staff have been warm and welcoming, the food has been fantastic and always served hot, and they make sure you are ready for your next course before they bring it out to you.
I have enjoyed every experience with them and had a great time, even if busy the food doesnt take very long to come out to you.
Called in for lunch yesterday as we were having a tow bar fitted to our car just up road.
Food was excellent. I had a rump steak, medium rare, cooked to perfection. Barry had a delicious slow cooked steak and ale pie. Drinks were reasonably priced. Service by Courtney was excellent, decor and ambiance great. Did not realise there was an area for your dogs 🐶🐩🐕 and would have brought our two. Price enhanced by using some of my Tesco Club Card Vouchers.
Will definitely return.
Our first visit to this venue, and we weren’t disappointed. The staff were excellent, very attentive, very polite. An asset to the business. The food was also excellent. A lovely atmosphere and very clean everywhere. We will certainly be back.
Lovely place, really nice food. We absolutely loved eating here so much so we've booked Christmas dinner. The only slight negative is service was a little slow (but worth the wait) and the children's portion sizes are a little small.
Great service. Excellent food. Visited on a weekday lunchtime. Quiet so we were looked after. Huge car park so I imagine it could be busy at times. Well worth a visit. Great looking Xmas menu.
My first visit to this beautiful historic building where my late Mother used to work as a Psychiatric Nurse. The decor & ambiance were superb. Dad & I were greeted at the entrance & shown to our table by a lovely hostess/waitress. Our drinks order quickly arrived followed by our freshly cooked food around 20 minutes later. We could not fault the food, it was delicious! We were looked after by two lovely girls....Emma & Lynn who were genuinely happy people. Both Dad & I were so happy with our experience & shall definitely be visiting again

We were visitors to the area staying at a nearby hotel, and we were going to go to the Homestead for dinner but instead went to the restaurant next to our hotel and that was a disappointment. So when we had a chance we decided to try Homestead and what a difference, nice atmosphere, good/friendly service and enjoyed our meal/drinks. So our regret is that we should have come here on the first night instead of the other place.

Great staff overall but one lady called Lynn is different level of a person, wrote a lovely 'thankyou' on my receipt which I only saw when I got home. Advised me on the area as I'm not from here. Lovely pub, staff, food, pint! If and when I come back I'll definitely come here again. Overall excellent service
Just had a lovely meal in the Homestead pub. The welcome and service by Darcel and Emma was second to none. The food was hot and plenty of it. The atmosphere is both welcoming and relaxing

It’s a building full of history and it’s nice for the pub to recognise this, with plenty of signage and comments on the menu to raise awareness of the past the place had. The interior is really well decorated although the high ceilings can make it a little chilly, especially during less busy times. The staff are all really friendly straight from arrival and we were made to feel welcome immediately. The dining area is much bigger than it initially looks but there’s a good area available should you only be wanting drinks. The car park is very large with the whole place accessible.
The menu has a good range and is as you’d expect if you’re familiar with the chain. There’s a nice blackboard on the wall showing the daily offers available and some of these offer some great value! Our order was taken professionally and the food itself arrived in good time. The calamari starter came with three large rings and they were cooked well with a good sized dip and some rocket. The sirloin steak was cooked correctly to the order but some veg would have been nice, with it instead coming with only half a tomato. For the price though it was a good portion size in general.
The toilets were clean as was the whole restaurant in general and overall it was a great early evening meal. It was good value, especially if you can take advantage of the deals available, and it’s a really relaxing environment.
Staff were welcoming, took our order when we were ready. Food was tasty & hot. We were served by Lynn who was polite & made us feel special
Great service as always. The Mixed grill is probably the best I've ever had in my life, and the Steak and Ale pie was amazing, thank you chef Harrison.
Would recommend to everyone.
