Chips and curry sauce whilst visiting family in Oakham. Excellent food and portions.

We usually have delivery and the food has been very good. On this occasion I went into the bar. I was initially ignored for over 5 minutes. When I placed my order, and it was ready I asked for mushy peas and was then told I had ordered curry sauce that I hadn't. The young lady then proceeded to print out a receipt that just proved she had taken the order wrong. It was not a great experience and I was quite upset. The food was good but I think in future if I order again it will be online only.

Very good food, excellent fast efficient service, however, the staff are all very serious, they could do with a light lift in their spirits as they seem too scared to interact with each other let alone the customers

Fantastic fish and chips, really lovely staff. My husband tried a kebab tonight and said it was delicious. It's also very reasonably priced. Definitely the best takeaway in Oakham!
