Nice bar, it's a live entertainment venue for music, comedy etc if you're into live entertainment it's great, if not you'd be wasting your time going. I love it. Wishbone Ash were great.
A great venue we visited for a comedy gig on a day away from Sheffield and we'd definitely come again. A lovely outside terrace, great drinks that you won't find in other places and tasty nachos. Have visited the Drill quite a few times over the years for the beer festival. The facade of the hall looks amazing.

We were looking for a quick bite whilst we waited for the train & Drill didn't disappoint.
The interior is cool (aircon) & traditional, with modern bench seats & tables.
Outside seating is a huge metal bench seat with small tables & chairs, these are in a shaded off the main Rd court yard.

We went last night to see Grease the Musical. It was absolutely brilliant but we thought that £2 20 for a little bottle of fruit shoot was rather expensive. It would be better if they sold Soft drinks in bottles rather than having to have a plastic beaker.
Limehouse Lizzy last night we’re their usual brilliant selves. Interaction with the crowd excellent however the sound wasn’t as good as I’ve heard previously in others venues due to the Drill being an old building without the sound systems of other venues so the mixing desk team struggled to get the
Nice ambience, well organised venue which was busy but not packed in like sardines, friendly and helpful staff and a well stocked bar.
Had a great night at the Drill watching Foo Fighters UK with my daughter. A new venue for me, never been before. Easy to find, plenty of parking nearby, friendly atmosphere.
Will be checking their guide for future events.
Great venue! A nice restaurant on site if you fancy a pre-bite and the tiered seats ensure a good view.
Bar staff were a bit slow though and the G&Ts weren't the best!
I love this venue, fab friendly staff, great theatre, just the right size to be big and intimate.
Visited to see Wishbone Ash in concert .Great night and a great venue, the hall was full with 300 people but was comfortable, good acoustics.Will definitely visit again.
Great venue. Went to the comedy night, fab acts, good acoustics. Staff all really friendly & helpful, well run. Definitely recommend.
Hopefully, food will be available on our next visit.

Attended the comedy night last Saturday. Acts were very good,sound good,lighting good and venue is about the right size. Disappointed that there was no food available,we checked the website which seemed to suggest food is available during evenings when events are on. Well no food. Drinks quite expen
Today was the beer festival which well run and organised. Obviously the beer was the focus and a fabulous selection was available, only thing missing was the Hog Roast and some live music in the background. Great effort all the same👌
Well organised nice venue good sound and view. Had a very enjoyable evening to see Eddi Reader.
