Really nice breakfast, proper local feel. The manager was marvellous, a young modern man with a cool fringe. The service was better than imagined. I wish I could have stayed all day

Went on a Sunday evening, meeting lots of family members (I live in Scotland, so it's probably the only time I'll be here). The place is pretty large, but if there are more than 4 of you, the only chance you'll get of sitting next to each other is if you go to the back and move tables together (the
Beer was great, perfect temperature even in this heat. Wish I could have stayed longer. New visit Feb 2023, no need to mention the beer, sausage and egg muffin was perfect as you can see from the yolk popping and narrowly missing my jumper 😬
On holiday in the area +pleased to see a 'spoons ', always value for money, the loos exceptionally nice. Will definitely go again when in the area
A gathering of family , we had some items from the lunch menu and it was very nice . Also and unusually when I asked for no ice , that's how it came . I'm not the titanic nor am I a penguin , you'd be surprised how many barstaff think they know better than you . Good job . Crack on .
Always a lovely pub to come to, it's got a great atmosphere but it's not too loud, the food is always nice and the staff are super friendly.
Visited the pack horse in sleaford today (11th july) I must say such a lovely man behind the bar couldn't do enough for us - his manner was excellent a credit to the pub

I used to go to a J D Weatherspoons as often and the more the better not just because of the beer but the quality and size of the meals but over the past few years it started to go down hill especially with the food quality and size it shows in the amount of people calling in. Shame.
Great food for what it is. You always know what you are getting with Spoons and this one is as good as any. Service is quick and cheerful.
