Called in here about 5pm. Never been before. Intended to go to Centurian but, for some reason, kitchen closed. Well, Centurian’s loss and the Gatehouse’s gain.
Very nice lady served us, Dawn. Very attentive and a good advert for the chain.

Since the Plough has had new manager it's gone down hill, so decided to go to the Gatehouse instead... its had a total make over and its 10x if not 20x better than the old place. (My new local)
A very warm welcoming family pub caters for all ages. Good level of entertainment good variety of snacks and drink. Land lady is doing a great job in the time she as had the pub she as turned it round 100% not just the inside looks great but the beer garden is well looked after well done the gardene

Never been in this pub before but it had nice decor, a gaming area with pool darts and a fruit machine. Separate dining area with plenty of seating. Plenty of seating outside, for warmer weather and smokers. Received a warm welcome at the bar which was nice. Didn't try the food but would definitely
absolutely brilliant time really enjoyed myself. Drinks are reasonably priced, atmosphere great it was Saturday night with live music. I popped in for a quick drink and I ended up staying a few hours.
Quintessential local watering hole now serving a range of food on individual days. Haven't yet sampled the fare but always made to feel welcome and a great range of bar games including darts. Energetic and lively on weekends often with live entertainment.
Brilliant place amazing staff and customers
This a is an old fashion pub serving good ale at very good prices. Darts and board games played regularly. If you are after what we old ones call proper pub this one.

Popped in while waiting for my car go get serviced. Had a cold soft drink and played some pool with a friend. Great friendly pub
Very quiet pub. Nice beer served by friendly staff.

Down side - they don't do any food.
A proper pub,none of this lets take all the charactor out of the place by tarting it up beyond recconition .Good beer,good staff,(only one drawback,the electric scoreboard on dartboard dosnt work properly)
