Amazing food, great menu choices which is split between traditional pub food and Indian food. The service was friendly and speedy. Great atmosphere for a village pub.
I have been twice to the Peacock Lodge now and both times I have had a good time. Service is quick and the food has been absolutely lovely. I have never felt rushed and have been made to feel welcome and valued.
The meals are reasonably priced and of very high quality for pub grub. The drinks are roughly the same price as elsewhere, from what I have seen. The staff are friendly and patient.
Been here many times, always had a good service & very helpful/knowledgeable staff. Last visit was a group of 8. Drinks came out all together followed by the food, later on. Always deliciously hot food, prefect.

Freshness, quality, quantity, and different types of choices of food were amazing for everyone. Prices of dishes were very good. My husband loves curries and said they are very authentic dishes, but also, some have a modern twist to them.
The interior needs a bit of updating.
Authentic Indian food alongside traditional pub grub, service is number 1 here, all staff are polite, well presented and excellent atmosphere. Everything I've eaten here (various times) has been hot, quick, and delicious, all the meat in the curries is good quality, and the sauces are just right - thick and creamy!
The pub itself is enormous with various seating areas depending on your mood / reason for visiting with a good-sized car park to go with it.
Wonderful food and great service. Our family of 4 had a great time. Special thanks to the chef who prepared a special prawn pasta with no chilli for my mum who is allergic. Excellent faultless food and service.
Visited on bank holiday Monday. We were able to book for 7 adults and three children (one of which needed a high chair and the other in a pram). I am giving a five star review based on the service alone. It is such a refreshing change to go to an establishment where the staff are friendly and make you feel welcome. A particular thank you to the gentleman who performed a small magic trick for our 5 year old of the group!
Friendly atmosphere and decent selection of drinks but where this pub really excels is its extensive menu. A huge selection of traditional pub grub, as well as an equally huge selection of Indian style food - and even though the menu is large-scale, this doesn't compromise the quality of the dishes. Would absolutely recommend this establishment to anyone willing to listen.
There's even an outdoor play area for the children. Superb all round.
Lovely meal, great service and very good extensive menu,including Vegan and Vegetarian and Gluten free choices. Nice atmosphere, very laid back and relaxed. Highly recommended.

Busy Friday evening when we visited. Hadn't booked but had a choice of tables - we did eat about 6.30 ish tho' Overwhelming choice of food on 3 separate menus Pub Food/Indian/Hotdogs etc. Food was lovely, served nice and hot and great value. Had to chase up for our drinks but food arrived timely after that.
Food was delicious, good portion sizes for a reasonable price.
Great food, this is the kids pizza, would recommend and will visit again for sure.

Group of 18 booked at short notice and the service was great, food excellent with big portion and really great value for money, although not local to us, we'll be making the journey to go back!
Amazing service, the magic man is so friendly and amazing with the kids. Definitely a new favourite pub to go too. Food is always top notch 👍 🤩
Absolutely amazing. The bryiani was easily one the most delicious ones I have ever eaten. The play area for the little ones is really good and the fact me and my partner can relax whilst watching the little one is good. Food was exceptional and we all loved our meal. Fast service and food was hot. The childs menu/deal was very good value for money. Would highly recommend and cant wait to go back.
Great food, great service and amazing hospitality especially towards the end where a few jokes were told by the manager.
