We stayed for the night, we arrived just after 3 and was shown straight to our room. We stayed on the loft. A very nice, comfortable room. We had the best nights sleep.
We booked an evening meal, pub was quite busy great ambience, shown straight to our table. The food was lovely.

This pub and the food is so nice I’ve come here for the past 2 weekends! Definitely worth the 1hr 40min drive. The fish and chips are to die for. The service is amazing, all the staff are sooo friendly. It’s a great pub, great atmosphere and great food! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Set in a quiet village, near the stream and ford, staff extremely helpful, food great, room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was enormous but with the walks around the area (available at the bar) was soon worn off.

Absolutely lovely country pub. We always pay this place a visit when we're out walking in the area. Dog friendly and some excellent local ales. Friendly staff and a lovely warm real fire. What more can you ask for?

Amazing food. The staff went above and beyond for us this evening. After a very long walk we couldn’t face cooking. We rang to see if we could get a takeaway and we where very much accommodate. Then when we got back home and tucked in the food was truly amazing. Thank you so much

Lovely stay in a great location. Rooms excellent. Food was good but not great. Think more great value pub grub rather than restaurant quality evening meals.

Brilliant pub in the Yorkshire Dales with a great choice of local beers, a lovely snug with traditional coal fire, could have stayed here all afternoon. The staff are really friendly.
