Review Windmill Inn - Linton

What a lovely little pub and restaurant. Fantastic atmosphere. Very family friendly. We had a fantastic meal all thoroughly enjoyed our food. And the service was lovely and smiley. Definitely recommend if looking for a warm, welcoming, good hearty food and parking on site is a massive bonus.

Review of testaurant. Excellent food, wasn't too hungry so took advantage of the small portions they do and had pie of the day (chicken and leek) . Perfect portion size. Excellent service and friendly staff, the young lad and lass couldn't have been more available. 2 bar rooms (separate from the much quiter restaurant), each with the fire going. Perfect visit, would definitely return if in the area.

Great Monday night quiz, starts at 07.30, free entry. Comfortable pub, log fire, good food available, and well kept beer. Large car park.

Wanted to bring my mother-in-law to a nicer place than your typical pub for Sunday dinner, and The Windmill didn't disappoint. Husband and his mum are hard to please, but they both raved about their lamb dinner. The atmosphere was gorgeous and service wonderful .

Our server was delightful, attentive, helpful and informative. She recommended the Special seafood chowder. Very tasty and a good portion at £13.50. Sadly I didn’t take any pictures! The general decor is looking a big tired but the food and service are great!

We used to visit regularly, walking from Wetherby to this picturesque village and pub until our dog passed away - we now have a new "four legged family member" and visited today for a pint and food. Friendly and helpful service at the bar, great food, well kept beer and a lovely beer garden, bang on! Cheers!

Good food, easy to book online, friendly staff, only small point, it was really hot and stuffy, could do with some Windows open, but it was during a heatwave.!

We had our wedding and wedding reception at the Windmill yesterday and everything from start to finish was fantastic! The food was superb, the layout and the staff were unbelievably hard working and friendly throughout the day. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend having your wedding or function here. Thank you for everything, we had a lovely day as did our guests.

We were stopping in a hotel down the road called wood hall for the weekend and wanted somewhere to go for a bite to eat. This pub is so lovely friendly staff and the food was great! 10 out of 10

It was fairly quiet but was only 5.30pm on a Thursday tea time. Lots of places to sit. Good bar service and great food arrived promptly. Looked to have a lovely beer garden too. Would recommend.

We had a wonderful meal food was cooked to perfection and the staff were polite and pleasant as always, never too much trouble to make sure our night was memorable, we live 40 minutes away, the people of this village are so lucky to have such a wonderful local pub on their doorstep.

Have eaten here twice, once as part of a party. The food was excellent but sadly the service and attitude of the staff is nothing more then abysmal. Had to ask to have our table cleared after being sat for so long, plus once deserts were ordered, waited a good 10 mins only to be told 75% of the menu was no longer available (and this was part of the party, pre-booked, so you would assume they cater for functions, evidently not!). If you like efficient, prompt service by polite efficient people, this is NOT the place to come. One to avoid, and certainly will be eating elsewhere in future, A real let down.
