Traditional fish n chip takeaway. Really good fish. Chips a bit too well cooked for me but still proper old school chips. I'll give them another try as they were very close.

I got a fish and chip a few weeks ago and the fish was cooked excellent and very fresh
Was a lovely crisp batter and was still very hot when I got it home and I walked home to my house about 7mins walk .
I would certainly recommend their service and the young man who served me was very kind and well mannered towards his customers

First time in this wee chippy for year's.
The staff were great and very polite.
The food was delicious as well..
At least they give you loads of chips with a fish supper,most places now give you a handful.

Always really love a Rocket Chip take out, the staff are so friendly and helpful. I'd recommend their chicken kebab on chips with chicken gravy. It's immense!

I am annoyed that i am giving Rocket Chip a 4 star nearly gave a 3 but this is only for their serving time management.
If you have up to 1 hour, ( please dont think im joking) to wait outside on you food, then go for it.
I totally recommend..
1= Ring your order in to the shop wait 45 min at least, more if its busy before going to collect it.
2= order online for delivery, it will still take up to an hour to come plus delivery charge, depending on were you live min £2 for just down the street.
Reason for this is You would think they would serve the customers in the shop first, for example, i ordered 1 chip to take home, 45 mins it took.
This is becaus they do all the orders in turn as they come in, phone calls, online, and walk ins are all in the same que.
Also all orders have to be paid up front.
They could have given me a chip in between big orders to let me away but no 😔
I have done this on 2 more occasions at different times and the next was 55min and 3rd 40 mins.
Why go back you ask......
Because the freeking food is Great... all off it.... Burgers, fish, chicken, you name it its good.
So the moral to the story is.... Ring your order in, or Order online and at least 1 hour before you want it, and you will be a happy full bunny 😁👍❤️

Just had my first takeaway via just eat app, ordered chips and burgers, burgers were delicious, the chips the best I have tasted, no grease crispy on the outside fluffy on the inside. Will deffo order from Rocket Chip again. Keep up the good work.

There is no finer place to get your dinner than Brads. I could happily eat from them every night. Great food, great staff. What more could you want?
