Superb quality made bread, pastries, cakes and the fantastic and authentic Cornish Pasty of course which comes in various flavours and sizes.
Highly recommended.
Some bizarre reviews in here considering these are the best pasties in the business. Rogue fake reviews from a rival bakery? Who knows?! What we do know is that Barnecutts are the best in the game and the excitement of seeing that red and white check bag cannot be beaten. In all seriousness the pasties are exceptional and the service is perfectly adequate. If there was one downside I'd say the sausage rolls (both pastry types) are okay, not excellent.
Pasties are brilliant, probably the best out there. Their deserts though, which I would bet are bought in from a supplier, are poor quality however.

Barnecutts still make the best pasties in Cornwall.
We've been in exile for a while but every time we visit Cornwall a Barnecutts pasty shop is the first port of call and their doughnuts are exquisite almost beyond words.
The shop in Liskeard is in a beautiful old Street, and the staff are lovely.
My favourite pasty in Cornwall. Excellent every time - my wife is vegan, as is their vegetable pasty, so we both are very happy customers. I try to visit them once a week and there is always a queue out of the shop - a great sign of a good bakery!
Every time I visit my parents always get a pasty as they're the best 👌
Great but recently the selection of special pasties has been severely limited. Plus my dad is missing the lack of cream cakes. Nice pasties though

A queue out the door and 6 people serving is always a good sign. Freshly baked piping hot so double bagged. The best Pasty I’ve had in a long time. Pastry was spot on, the filling was brim full, plenty of meat and the veg were cut and cooked just right. I’ll make sure to get more next time.
I live in Liskeard and I can easily say this is my go to place to a bite to eat on the weekends. The pasties here are phenomenal and are priced fairly at £3.95 for a large and £3.15 for a medium. My favourite bakery ever and very friendly staff
Best pasties in the world. My absouloute favourite would be the steak and stilton. If you're taking the pasties home I would suggest the cold pasties in the fridge TWO FOR THE PRICE OF ONE!
Fantastic service had a wake to cater for and had orded all the usual Cornish fare and every element was perfect .
