We enjoyed our first dinner there and will go back to try other things on the menu. Very flavourful food, clever combinations, upscale without being pretentious or fussy. Loved the pumpkin small bites, the mango in the Scotch egg was brilliant. Beetroot risotto lovely. Parmesan courgette fries ni
Might be the best pub-restaurant in the world. The chef is a genius producing outstanding quality of food with creative notes. Incredible value too. Not sure why the name was changed. Hope the staff is still the same.
We arrived stressed and later than anticipated due to traffic hold-ups however the calm atmosphere and the willingness of the staff to put our meal back slightly soon had us more relaxed. Delicious food and the dinner, B&B rate was very reasonable for such good quality. Would not hesitate to recomme
Excellent meal as always on Friday evening at the flitch. Fantastic food and service by Paul, Lisa and team. We would definitely recommend to friends and family. We can’t wait to come back!
A real little gem in Little Dunmow We are regulars at Flitch and never had less than amazing experience. The ambiance is nice and relaxing, staff very friendly and professional and the food is outstanding. No matter whether you choose a La carte or tasting menu, you can only be impressed; give them
Everything about this remarkable small restaurant is just about perfect. We enjoyed the 4 course lunch menu and found it delightfully tasty, creative, well-proportioned, and excellent value for money. Service was attentive and friendly without being overly fussy, while the atmosphere hits that sweet
The experience at the Flitch has always been spectacular! The food and service are just out of this world and cannot fault it. Thank you for creating amazing memories for us. Until the next time.
The food was delicious and the service was fabulous. We had a wonderful evening for my husbands birthday, thank you!
A warm welcome, followed by exemplary service, exquisite food at an excellent price ( lunch menu) in a very pleasant and light dining room with soothing colours. This should be a Michelin Star rated establishment , being far superior to some of the Michelin Star restaurants we have previously eaten
A fantastic venue and dining experience. The food was incredible. I look forward to returning soon!
Wow, what a fantastic restaurant. Food was top notch, staff were warm and welcoming and the ambience was lovely. We will certainly be back for more.
Outstanding!. Wow... We highly recommend this beautiful restaurant to anyone who enjoys taster menus. Very lovely host and waitress, the food is amazing. Thank you guys
What a wonderful, unforgettable experience! As a birthday treat, we dined at the 'chefs table', overlooking the kitchen, chatting with the chefs and enjoying watching the food prepared and sent out to tables, learning and inquiring about the menu, the choice of ingredients and their preparation. W
Stunning food, deep flavours and lovely team. If you get chance, have a chat to Paul, a passionate (and fun) artist. A jewel of a place.
Just got back from Sunday lunch at the Flitch - our first time there. I can safely say that it was one of the best meals that I have ever had - truly exquisite ! Every course was just perfection on a plate. The service is so friendly and we wanted for nothing at all. Very attentive without ever
Had such a good meal. Went beyond expectations. Looking forward to returning at some point. Love the fact that I don't need to go into London for a really good meal
Incredible gastronomic experience! If you like food, the taster menu will not disappoint you. Neither will the drink pairings they offer if you choose that too. And if you can stay overnight you'll be treated to luxury accommodation and a breakfast fit for a king! We had belly pork on french toast..
